Huawei HONOR 4A

Hi all,

I have just travelled to China and bought a Huawei Honor 4A smartphone; now, in Spain (Europe), this device works, GSM is ok, but I can not play Gmail, or Google Maps, or Play Store, Google Chrome, G+, etc...

Here, in XDA, I have read about HONOR 4X; what do you think? its ok if I make this model ROM for my 4A? Do you think I must wait for specific development for my 4A?

What can I do? :(

[HELP] how to set different sms app permanently? - Honor 6 b532

Hello, it seems that new lollipop build b532 keeps changing sms app back to default (huawei contacts) even if the new app (choms sms) is set as default in the default app menu in settings (tha app is additionally set to be 'trusted').
What's going on here??
Each time I leave my phone for a while, my default application is changed to huawei one:-/
Is there any way to set it once for all to 3rd party app?

Honor 7 resellers?

Hi,

Firstly sorry if this is the wrong forum for this, im new to XDA.

Now onto my question, i was wondering if there are any official resellers for the Honor 7 in the UK as the site says they are sold out. If not any idea when they'll be back in stock?

MIUI v7 on Honor 6 L12

Hello guys!
After getting a bit fed up with EMUI, I decided to try to find a good ROM to use on my Honor 6 (L12), and I've decided on MIUI v7. The official MIUI website shares two ROMs for this phone (presumably done with MIUI Patchworks), one for WCDMA phones, and one for TD-SCDMA phones.

Due to not having 10 posts yet, I am not allowed to post links, but on the official MIUI Website, if you go on Downloads > Brands > Huawei > MIUI v7 you will find the two ROMs I'm speaking of.

Thing is, I have no idea which one of these I should use on my phone, or even if they will work on L12. I am still under warranty, so I only want to root my phone once I'm sure the ROM works. Can anyone give me any info on this?

requesting contact apk for Honor 4x (CHE2-UL00)

Hi everybody,

In my hnor 4x (CHE2-UL00), i can't put prefix or suffix when i save contact.
and also i can't write contact into "first, middle or last name".
my contact appear only "name" can't choose anything.

Can you put the name like "first, middle & last name" in Che2-L11 or other 4x version?
if that so, can i get the contact apk from it?

Honor 6+ - Alternative camera app?

Hi,

Is there alternative camera app that can take advantage of the dual camera setup for taking "wide aperture" photos?
The built in one is OK but it could do with more features and settings...

Also in there a way of extracting depth information from images already taken?

Hello friends, i'd like to ask how to back from 5.1.1 Lollipop B521 L04 to B370 4.4.2. I wrote to Huawei Devs, but their answer was: We are sorry but we can't give you any informations about that.
I'm asking because after update my phone turns into unstable device.. Forced close apps, self-restarts, self hang up calls, freezes etc..
I'm asking for help, i'll be thankful for every answer or help..

Honor 6 Bricked after update to 5.1.1

after the update to 5.1.1 I bricked my Honor 6. I tried to unbrick it with the multi tool but it dont works...

I can access fastboot and the bootloader is unlocked. Can I rescue my phone?
