[Way too] Commonly asked questions

Commonly asked questions for the Note 4 N910A. I am seeing these same questions asked over and over and over and over and over again.


1) Is there root available?

There is NO permanent root available.
Temporary root is available ONLY if your phone hasn't updated past firmware OC4.


2) Can I install [this ROM] or [firmware from another Note 4 model]?

NO! We have a locked bootloader still. The only thing you can flash is firmware made for this phone by Samsung/ATT.


3) Will Kingroot or Klingo root work?

See #1. Kingroot is how you do the temp root mentioned in #1.


4) My OTA update won't install! HELP!

5) Will this phone ever be rooted?

I don't know. Let me use my crystal ball to look into the future. Oh wait! NO ONE CAN TELL THE FUTURE!!!


6) What? This phone isn't rooted yet or has had the bootloader unlocked? It's been a year since this phone has been released!
