I have a 1st gen moto E 4 months into a 24 month contract with Tesco Mobile.
Just over a month ago, I noticed part of the screen (roughly one third) was blanc or black, while the rest of the screen worked fine, the touchscreen continued to work.
It looked like someone had taken a bite out of the screen!
Let me add the actual touchscreen was not cracked or shattered, it looked like the LCD itself was at fault.
It was sent away for repair, and no loan or replacement device was offered to me.
It's now been away almost 5 weeks and I call them today.
I'm told it's likely to be beyond economic repair, and I can have another device (such as a Sony Xperia E4) for "cost" price (£65)
Can anyone try to clarify how I stand and offer some advice as to what to do please? I'm not sure how I stand?
