It seem our note 4 is still the best phone on the market?

Considering removable battery, memory card, infra red, s. pen etc. After almost one year it seems there's no real competition ... I was looking to buy a new phone but at best there may be phones with better cameras (marginal). Seems a shame that no real progress this year. I could live without the s. Pen but want much better battery life and memory card or at least a large internal memory.
Maybe LeTV LeMax 2 will convince me to change.
