Issue with warranty



Hello guys, let me ask for some help.

I got a Nexus 7 2013, i checked with Asus and is on warranty until next year.

I have to send it to repair because the touchscreen is not working on part of the screen.

But i`m not the original owner, in fact i`m the third one, the guy i bought from gave me an Amazon paper, i think it`s an invoice, it states the device, price, where and when it was sent to, etc, but Asus says they need the receipt, and i can`t get it, the guy i bought it from doesn`t have the contact with the original seller anymore.

I tried Amazon with the number in the Amazon invoice and they sent the receipt but to the guy that bough it first only since it´s the email that they have registered.

I found him on facebook but he has blocked all contact, so i can`t send him a message.

Is there anyway to force Asus to accept the warranty?
