I'm brand new so please forgive me/move this thread if it's in the wrong place!
I have rooted devices before but in the Android Donut dark ages lol.
I'm having trouble getting my device (Hisense Sero 7 Pro UK) to load fastboot. I've followed all the instructions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2277112. My cmd on Windows shows my serial number under adb devices but not fastboot devices. When I hold Power+VolumeUp (as I believe is the hardware requirement for this device) the device boots into Android Stock Recovery.
I'm trying to install a new rom (but am not yet rooted) as per: http://forum.xda-developers.com/andr...dopa5-t3015014
This is driving me absolutely mental as I don't know what I'm doing wrong!
