For almost 2 years now, my wife and I including our 2 children ages 3 and 4 at this time, have been the victim's of multiple cell phone hacks. Nine (9) cellphones to include Android and iPhone have been compromised by remote intrusion. Actually, the first phone, a galaxy s3 was physically accessed by an ex coworker of my wife's, and subsequently my galaxy s3 was remotely hacked through an MMS. Understand this...neither my wife or I our computer savvy or to say weren't computer savvy at the beginning of all this.
We have since schooled ourselves, to include learning and somewhat understanding these malicious programs, acronyms, permissions, and capabilities.
We now know how these individuals have continued to access multiple phones. Each phone is full of apps containing com.sec.pcw. None of which can be disabled or force stopped. All share and link appear to be the common denominator.
After inspecting the cell phones of our friend's and family, which all have different types of phones and carriers we found that each of them have the "Master List" of com.sec.pcw installed. Further inspection found that EVERY contact is linked.
I mention this because my wife and I have not only changed phones, we have changed phone numbers and carriers.
Yet we couldn't figure out how these people continued to invade, intrude, violate and monitor our every movement.
However, with time, documentation and cross referencing we are now able to understand what was once unknown.
My wife and I would like to thank XDA and all of its members. A majority of our "on the fly" learning has come from this site and all of you are greatly appreciated.
In closing....
There are still many questions left unanswered.
Is there away to regain full administrator privileges when we are unable to root our phones,
Delete malicious apps which can't be disabled,
And, block these intruders from regaining access?
Thank you to all who read this post, and we sincerely appreciate any feedback.
