elephone dead, info warranty with rom

Hi guys, the phone of my girlfriend yesterday is switched off because le battery was at 0%, then she plugged in to charge it with phone power off. the led not working, after some minutes the battery was hot then she opened the cover and after one hour the phone don't power on. I've flashed on her phone the eragon rom, void the warranty?
