I was about to start a new thread asking my question, but don't like to do that until I check to see if it's been answered already. The problem with this is I'm not even confident I know the correct terms to perform a valid search.
So, here is my question: I'm planning to buy a used Samsung Galaxy S4 (AT&T) and I want to root it. Are there "versions" on this phone that are "rootable" and "non-rootable"? Which versions are which and what do I ask the seller to identify the version- the baseband version?
Can anyone tell me if this question has been answered already and if not, where should I post the above questions?
