Hi guys
Thought I should start a thread for various AOSP builds people are doing for their Sony Z5Compact. We can trouble shoot errors and generally take advantage of the way Sony encourage open source development for their devices.
Ill get the ball rolling.
Here is AOSP 5.1.1_r18 system, boot & recovery for Z5C.
https://mega.nz/#!dkBxTLja
1. Make back up of stock sony partition.img however you like. 2. Download link. 3. Un-zip file. 4. Flash .img files via fastboot. 5. Let me know if the boot and run.
Its not the "latest build" being 5.1.1_r18 however I thought if these .img files boot and run I will make a rooted version of system.img and maybe start trying to build a custom recovery.
I would test these .img files my self, however I dont own a Z5C ....YET!...
**NOTE.** Sony has included SU in system/xbin of there AOSP build, however no busy Box.
If anyone makes a newer build ie Android 6.0 feel free to post it in this thread
Regards
