Enabling notifications while using fingerprint?

I get whatsup messages and cant see them before i unlock the screen with my fingerprint.

Is there any way to enable notifications?

I saw on a YouTube video of a guy getting google now card Notifications on his watch. Now I can't find the video and was wondering if anyone knew how to enable this feature. Thanks!

Notification light stays on when screen on, until notifications looked at.

Here's the deal.....coming from a Sony Xperia S after 3 years loved that phone ....i bought the P8000, i know a good bit about android and I'm very happy with the phone so far,,,,just have it two days rooted and custom Rom already...

One thing so far that annoys me is the notification light staying on (breathing) until the notification is looked at...when your spending half hour chatting the ladies its annoying......now the xperia s the notification light would turn off as soon as screen comes on ...makes sense because the notifications are on the bar anyway...

Is there any solution to this? App..software or execute script at boot?

If there is a solution i will write something to make the light breath brighter!

TIP:
The phone will charge at its fastest rate when totally left alone, because of heat generation from charging..... and if the phone being used at the same time, the charge current mA will drop in ratio to battery temperature rise, it is regulated to protect the battery from over heating and possible explode!

Change your cpu governor to on demand from interactive saves a bit more battery.

Notifications are all delayed. WhatsApp. Line. Gmail.

Moto x pure. Rooted and unlocked

Currently all my notifications don't show up. I need to open the app and then all of them will appear. After I open the app notifications will work like normal for around 10-15 minutes.

Anyone experienced this or have some ideas to troubleshoot?

It almost seems like background data is suddenly restricted. This happens on lte and WiFi.

Persistent notifications on notification panel.

I use screebl, I know there is inbuilt things to do it. I just find screebl to work better. But does anyone know how to remove screebl from (see picture) but keep it in the top notification as I use it to tell if it's on.

not getting text or email notifications, not vibrating..

I am no longer receiving text message or email notifications on my watch. It doesn't buzz/vibrate. When I check the cards, the messages are there, the watch just isn't vibrating to let me know. I've restarted the watch, and resynced applications, and then restarted the watch after I re-synced apps, still nada. I've tested sitting still at my desk, so it isn't that I'm not feeling the buzz, it just isn't buzzing. It is vibrating for phone calls though. Suggestions?

Getting notifications from 3rd party apps on Gear S2

Hi,

I am using Note 4 DE and I have 4 Exchange accounts set on 3 different applications: Nine Exchange, Touchdown Exchange for Smartphones and built-in email app in addition to two GMAIL accounts, all of them with different colored light and notification sound thanks to Light Flow. I am wondering if the Gear S2 will display all notifications coming from all the apps previously mentioned? Is there a setting that allow us to select which notifications to be sent to smartwatch or it is capturing only standard apps like Gmail, Hangouts and Messaging?

Two identical WiFi notifications for click-through-UA free WiFI networks

I have Startbucks WiFi added to the list of WiFi networks on my S2. As many of you probably know, Startbucks WiFI requires users to click through an "Accept and Connect" screen before allowing them to access Internet. Now, I notice that when I walk into a Startbucks with my S2, it pops up two identical standard notifications about being unable to access Internet and WiFi network requiring user attention (or something along those lines).

So, why am I seeing two identical notifications every time? Is this something about my setup? Or is it just a quirk of Samsung version of the ROM?

Get rid of drop down notifications

Moto 360 2nd gen: remove on screen notifications

So on my old Moto 360 I could prevent notifications from appearing over the watch face. I no longer see that option on Android Wear. Is there a way to remove the notifications from covering the watch face with the 2nd gen Moto 360?

Volume and duration of notifications

Hi I have Moto-E 2nd Gen from Cricket bought earlier this year.

I'd like to increase volume and duration of notification for appointments. Right now if I pick one of the available notifications, it beeps just once with whatever sound I picked (and if I have headphones plugged in but am not actually listening, then I don't hear at all).
Sound is also quite low.

I'd like for notifications to be like alarms, i.e. keep ringing till I do something or at least ring 5-6 times.

Can someone help? Appreciate it

Notifications while stamina is "on"

Hi there.
I generally use to set STAMINA mode ON when i'm studying or working and don't want to receive notifications from whatsapp, gmail, facebook etc., but since kitkat and still now with lollipop, sometimes it happens that with stamina mode activated and phone locked I receive them, which means that those app are using internet connection and stamina it's not properly working.
Looking at the forum, i noticed that many people are having the same problem, so here's my question: could it be due to some wakelocks? In that case, blocking them could I avoid this situation?

In 6.0, how do I put device on silent and still receive notifications?

Just like the title says, how do I mute the sounds on my Nexus 7 but still receive notifications in the notification panel? Right now, if I mute the device, it goes into "alarms only" mode and I don't get notifications.

As I've replaced my Oneplus One to a Oneplus 2 and lost the ambient display option again, I'd like to see your opinion. How is it possible that in 2015 I can't tell my phone with the latest stock version of Android to simply turn the screen on for a short while when a notification comes.

I know I can (and actually I do) install 3rd party applications to do that but why isn't it in the stock version? What's Google's point of view about that? AFAIK the iPhones have always had this feature.

ive been getting notifications about updating to lolipop every day, ans ive always just hit "not now" everytime. how do i do away with it. i want to wait untill january when im due for upgrade to root, but if there is no way to hide it besides rooting, thats what ill do. thanks guys.
