[Q] Some don't get images I text

For some reason there are those among my friends who do not receive images, or video clips, I send them. I no one got them I'd think it was something I was doing wrong, but many of the people I send them to say they received them, so is this a local problem, a setting on the receivers side?.

*How To* Screen off when receiving text!

First and formost!! Credit goes to face and any other person who discovered this!! I'm just placing it here so people know it works for the note 5 and for people to lazy to look with the search function!!

What this does: If you hate when your phone screen turns on when receiving a text, this will make so your phone screen stays off!

ROOT REQUIRED!!!

Step 1~ Use ROOT browser or any other type of ROOT file Explorer, head to Data/Data/Com.android.mms.



Step 2~ Go into the folder called "Shared_prefs"



Step 3~ Go into "com.android.mms_preferences.xml" be sure to open it in a text editor!!



Step 4~ scroll down until you see this "<boolean name="pref_key_backlight" value="true" />" now that you found it change the true to false! Save your edit and if your file Explorer creates a back up with an ext. At the end like .BAK be sure to delete it or move it else where as your phone will revert all changes upon reboot if you do not!!!

FINALLY~ I AM NOT Responsible for any problems you may cause to your phone be careful not to delete extra text or any thing of the sort as it could potentially cause problems!! Enjoy your extra little bit of battery being saved by text notifications not turning your display on :D!!

not getting text or email notifications, not vibrating..

I am no longer receiving text message or email notifications on my watch. It doesn't buzz/vibrate. When I check the cards, the messages are there, the watch just isn't vibrating to let me know. I've restarted the watch, and resynced applications, and then restarted the watch after I re-synced apps, still nada. I've tested sitting still at my desk, so it isn't that I'm not feeling the buzz, it just isn't buzzing. It is vibrating for phone calls though. Suggestions?

U.S. Cellular LG G3 can't send text messages or call but can use mobile data?

My LG G3 has suddenly stopped being able to send messages and call, but I can sometimes use mobile data. Every once in a while I will get a Phone Activation popup when I power on my phone but I never wait to see if it will actually do anything. When I looked at my phone info it said I didn't have a mobile number. Is this SIM card related or software? I am on 5.0.1 stock unrooted.

Can't reply back to a text or email

Everytime I go to reply back to a text I received it says unable to send message. Sometimes out of the blue I can, but i can't almost all of the time. Or it will say call not aloud. Just didn't know if I was doing something wrong?????

Sending a text using "OK Google"

If I say "Ok Google.. Send text to bob... blah blah blah" it will send it using my carrier number not my google voice number but if I go into hangouts and send a text it sends it using my google voice number. Is there anyway to fix that? Also the default sms app in settings is hangouts and I am using the nexus 5 lollipop and I don't have any 3rd party sms app at all.
