lolipop sim card bug ?

While I really love the new lollipop release with all my part there seem to be a bug relating to the sim card.
It happens a few times each day that the phone unmount/cant detect sim card.
What happens is that you can have the phone on your table then when you pic it up it will request for sim pin code.

This is a quite serious problem since I want to be able to reached 24/7

Some other person in the lollipop confirmed he had the same problem.
Both we and him seem to have the same problem and it happens when you toggle off mobile data.
Which I always do when I do not want any notifcations from IMs.

I hope there is any solution of this. Also could more people confirm they have the same problem ?

Best cm based rom?

I know that it's best to try them myself but I really don't have time to test all.. I'm wondering which cm based rom has great performance with comparable battery life to stock. I think stock Roms are a bit too laggy with quite a lot of microstutters. And it hangs time to time as well. Cm Roms I tried a while ago are Bliss pop and Resurrection but they both have too short battery lives. But I loved that they were so smooth.

Any recommendation?

I get whatsup messages and cant see them before i unlock the screen with my fingerprint.

com not being recognized

Guys I'm trying to root with the cubed root but when I go into download mode and open command prompt to identify the com ports I get an error not recognizing the ports should I download another version of the tool used to do it or is something wrong with the device??? Any assistance appreciated

Recovery Mode stuck in manual mode. NOT stuck in recovery mode

To begin, my phone is functioning and I am trying to install a custom recovery application CWM/TWRP. I just replaced the LCD and screen on my phone after not using it for a year. I THOUGHT I had TWRP installed, but after I factory reset (to start fresh) I tried to root my phone and noticed the recovery is stuck in manual mode.

I followed many online guides for assistance with using Odin3 to install the custom recovery, but every forum or instruction set tells you to go into "download mode" which isn't accessible from the manual version of recovery. Here are all the options I have:

Reboot system now
apply update from ADB
apply update from external storage
wipe data/factory reset
wipre cache partition
apply update from cache

Network Problem (Galaxy s6 Edge G925F)

I have encountered a problem with my samsung galaxy s6 edge, i bought this phone from ebay, and i am using this phone in sweden with my halebop(telia) network. Problem is when i am in coverage area of 4G my phone will show the signal and will be have full coverage and everything works perfectly, but when i am in area where there is only 3g, my 3g works but there is no coverage on my phone, i tried to do it manually assiging the network in 2g/3g auto mode it says network registered but still no network on my phone. Before buying i even checked the history of the phone, it was not black listed and not stolen nothing. Moreover if i use my sim of Pakistan or sim of Dubai it works perfectly even shifts to network (if i chose 2G/3G auto or 2G only ) it works fine but don't work with my sim.

Can anyone please guide me because i am searching it internet but couldn't find anything. I also order new unlock code and even after inserting the code phone says unlock successful but still problem of the coverage.

Media problem .. Media on SD Card cant be detected

I got a big problem, my grand do not detect any media on Sd card.. I can access all media by file explorer but do not detected by Galary ., Music Player as well as Any video player. Please help me.. FYI : I have 32 GB memory card..

Hi, when I extract my SIM I broke a pin from the slot :(, now the phone not detect my SIM card. Its possible to replace the SIM card reader ?

Wi-Fi speed problem

My wifi speed on phone is 10 mbps, while on every device at home, its 30 mbps.

I tried these:
Fully resetting router (TPlink)
Forgetting network and reconnecting
Clearing cache through recovery
Resetting settings

Didn't try yet:
Full factory reset, but I'll lose so much data for this.


Anything i could try?

Hello everyone! Because i was tired of lollipop performance and bugs on our phone, i decided to downgrade to cm11. I found this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto...od-11-t3216484 . But i cannot find a compatible kernel for it without losing wifi, so i have to deal with the screen flickering and subpar cpu management of the stock kernel. Can someone help me finding a kernel or making the newer ones work with wifi?

I've had this problem for months now, and figured it was bug or something, but recently I did a clean install of lollipop 5.0 (now 5.1.1) and the problem is still there.

Sometimes, when the screen is off, I have no connection. I can see this by looking at Whatsapp web, which uses your phone's connection. It says my phone has no connection. When I press the powerbutton, the message disappears and I start to receive messages.

It doesn't loose connection all the time - I will get the messages eventually with the screen off - 10, 20, 30 minutes.

Here's the thing:
- Stamina mode: OFF (stamina clock and extended usage also off) - well at least it's set to 60% and currently 75% battery.
- Queue background data: OFF
- Wifi NO sleep mode.
- Also happens with 3G


Back in the day, I even tried clearing data on the stamina mode service? I can't remember the details.

Any ideas?

Issue with headphones and sound

Hello,
I'm experiencing sound issues on an I9300, which I bought used. The phone indicates that there are headphones inserted, which leads to no sound from the loud speaker or the earpiece. Using Soundabout I can get them both back, which leads to hardware problem and means I cannot use any headphones.
I have cleaned the 3.5mm jack using a match and duct tape, also with a cotton swab, moistened with alcohol. Didn't help me with the issue so I've decided to buy a whole new loud speaker module. After testing it I found out that the problem isn't actually caused by the jack. When I disassembled the phone I have found some spots. The phone has likely been moistened. The spots looked caused by muddy water or probably cola, because some parts were stuck. Then I got pretty convinced that the issue is with the motherboard.
On the Internet I have found a motherboard treatment with isopropyl alcohol. I've bathed the MB for 10 minutes in that liquid, then let it dry but didn't work either.

Buying another MB would probably solve the problem, but I'm looking for alternative options. I gave for the phone and a new MB costs . I'd just get rid of the phone instead, but I just don't feel like buying a low-end phone, either spending all my savings on a high-end one because the Archidroid experience, thanks to JustArchi, is pretty much all what I'm looking for.

Google now cards not updating?

Hello everyone,

Until two days back, my google now was working perfectly fine with the cards refreshing on their own based on my location and the time of the day. I did not make any changes whatsoever, but now the cards are not updating. For eg, right now it is showing me cards from 4 days back. Earlier(before google launcher was updated), we could pull down to refresh and it showed the new cards. Now we cannot even manually do it. I have to turn off google now by going into the google settings app, turn on again then they come just for that day and again it doesnt update. I am connected to wifi most of the time.

Any help for the same would be highly appreciated as I rely a lot on Google now.

Dead M2 after 5.1.1 Update

Hello
I wanted to update my Xperia M2(Kitkat ->Lollipop). Well Something went wrong and i had red light and Image with dead Android.
I was a little scared but i decided to flash new Rom with flashtool. I did it many times on my old Xperia P(Great phone ;p). Well after finished and successful update( No error in Flashtool ) i wanted to turn on my Xperia and ... it's brick, No lights, Reset Button and Power button don't work. I tried PC Companion repair too, can't use flashmode (Volume - doesn't work).
Computer sometimes doesn't recognise my M2.

1. Debbuging USB is off, i suppose
2. Unkown applications off

HTC ONE S - S4 - S-ON - RUU help

Hi, I need some help going back to stock rom on my htc one s (s4).
I've read some places that I need an Ruu same as my version, this is my info.

Unlocked

I tried the instructions on androidforums dot com, can't post the link here cus it's one of my first posts, but I typed in google "HTC one s ruu" and it was the first link.

But at the end it said something like "Can't flash this image, find the correct image" or something along those lines.
I used this ruu at the time because it was the only similar one (although not exact) to my phone.

Problems with Android 5.1.1

I have noticed several problems since updating to the new 5.1.1 software. Firstly, has anybody noticed the different icons? All the stock apps are now using the Note 5 icons, but from researching this problem, other people don't seem to have this issue? Another problem is a lot of my messages aren't sending, I keep needing to restart my phone and try again, then they send.

Anybody else experiencing any of these?
