LG G3 D855 only rooted, I want to unroot update and root again

I've rooted some months ago my D855, I rooted it only because I want to write on the SD and use some software that requires root. Since 1 month my G3 says to me that there is a google patch that increase the usability. I'd like to update, but when I try to do this it says to me that rooted devices cannot be updated.
Then I'd like to unroot my device, update, and then root it again, but I'd like to do this without miss my data. How can I do? Some hint?

SM-G920T bootloop/bricked. Only have ODIN mode

Was streaming some music when my phone decided to shut down. I thought it was out of battery since it was low so I plugged into the charger. Now it only boots up to the Samsung logo and nothing else. I cannot access recovery, only Odin (download mode). I set it to download mode and tried the emergency recovery on Smart Switcher. No luck still boot loop. I then tried to flash the stock firmware via Odin 3.10.7 and still no luck. I was on G920TUVU3DOI1. I bought the phone pre owned on Swappa and the previous owner assured me it was not rooted or tampered with in any way. My system status reads Custom though. Knox is not tripped. Would attempting to flash via Odin have given me the custom status? Samsung store here won't touch the phone since it says Custom for system status. Since I wasn't planning on rooting this phone until after the warranty period I did not do any of the options in developer mode. So now I have FRP lock to contend with. It blocks me from installing a custom recovery. Does any one have any other suggestions I can try?

[Help] Only charging in MTP mode

Z1 C6902 5.1.1 root

As usual, I connect USB cable in MTP mode to explorer internal or external storage, but now :

- In MTP Mode : I can't do nothing, it just charging althought on PC and on mobile say connected, and MTP driver falsed in Devices manager. Sony PC Companion can't detect device too.

- In MSC Mode : normally

I tried many ways : uninstall driver, on/off USB debug, delete "upperfilters" key in regedit, unmount SD card.... but nothing changed

How can I fix it, please.

Is there any hidden options that I "may" turn MTP mode for only charge ?

Changing only the "Phone" application language

Hey, so without further ado i'll just describe my problem.
I just got my S6 edge and everything is perfect, except something that might seem not important but really irritates me:
I'm from Israeli, so obviously my mother tongue is Hebrew and so are my contacts.
I'm used to call using T9 method, the problem is i'm also used to English as my interface language, can't stand the Hebrew because it also changes the interface directions and confuses me a lot.
The problem is when my phone language is English there are only English letters on the dialer pad, and it doesn't allow me to look for a contact in Hebrew.
I looked for a way to add or change T9 language without any luck.
On my previous phone (S4) i used an alternative dialer, Ex Dialer, which was great and allowed me a lot of options, including adding a T9 language.
I would use it again now but I'm really not interested in rooting my phone, after rooting and too much flashing practically ruined my S4, and without rooting there's a problem that prevents the Ex Dialer app from cleaning unanswered calls and i have to open the stock Phone app each time I missed a call to clean it.
I'm looking for a way to use the stock dialer but change its language to Hebrew without having to use Hebrew as my main language, or any other alternative solution.

Octacore?! Only 4 cores work... why?

Hi everyone!

I dont know if anyone noticed yet but, someone using honor 4x (which uses the same chipset) as made this question.
Our chipset is octacore indeed but no matter what app you are using, any benchmark you perform, anything you do, only 4 cores work. Why is this so?
Then someone says that they only activate when using heavy stuff that requests much work from cpu... thats a lie... when you perform any kind of benchmark or heavy load app which should test your cpu to the limit it does indeed show 8 cores, but 4 of them are offline/sleep and dont get a speed reading. I know that probably it does not make much of a difference but we pay for an 8 core and only get 4 of them to work.

Does anyone know how to get them to work?

Only led turning on

Hello! First of all, sorry for my bad english :o
It all started when i unplugged my moto g from charger, the charger and the phone were way too hot. After that the phone won't boot up. Only the white led is turning on when the charger is plugged, if you press the power button or any combination of buttons nothing happens. So i went to the Motorola assistance, they wanted to charge me 360 R$ which is about 100$ dollars. They said my board burned . They also said they found some water damage but when i opened it everything was perfect. Nothing smelling like toasted or any sign of water damage.. So any ideas? I already tried holding power for 2 minutes, volume down and then power, put it on a stronger charger (1A from a Zenfone).
I'm not buying the burned board cause it turned on, for just a day after the assistance diagnostics ..
Again, just to be clear, the led isn't blinking like the battery died...

Am I the only one that has problems with GPS on any non TW rom?

I have the 910T with COG2 BaseBand.

GPS doesn't work at all when I flash to any non TW rom. CMRemix, SlimRemix, XenonHD, Dirty Unicorns etc...

It works perfect on all TW roms currently using TEKXodus Rv3 N5R2.

I really want to go back to ASOP style rom as I don't use any TW exclusive features but GPS is a must for my line of work.

I have not seen any other complaints in the asop type roms threads which leads me to believe its something I'm doing wrong. But What? I have no idea.

I always wipe format my phone before flashing new roms and follow the directions. Is it just me? or are others having the same issue? Is there a fix?

Deep sleep only 1.5%, Idling at 400Mhz almost 60%

Fully stock SM-N920P. Only seeing 1.5% in Deep sleep since buying the phone. Average between 55% - 60% at 400Mhz. Something's off (IMO). I use System Monitor, GSam Battery Monitor, etc and Android System seems to account for the most battery drain which I think is OK. Screenshots attached. Any idea how to get the Deep sleep time up?

Android File gets stuck at 44% only during SP Flashing

Hi,

I hope someone could help me about my A3000 device. I have done flashing my tablet for the first time and it worked fine after that (following the steps from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/leno...-call-t2441135). Unfortunately, after a few weeks, I have installed a lot of apps and it crashed or simply not working anymore.

I tried to do flashing again for the second time but unluckily, it doesn't take effect anymore. It always gets stuck at 44% of flashing, (ticked all the files displaying in the SP flash tool through the scatter file). Now, I tried flashing the files one by one. I found out that the ANDROID file has the problem. It won't completely download. All the other files like Recovery, Bootimg, UBOOT, EBR1 etc. works fine and it confirms with the "DOWNLOAD OK."

I have tried different options with Firmware Upgrade, Format all + Download etc. I also did perform Format in the SP Flash Tool before Downloading.

I hope you guys can suggest what step I should do next.

SCH-I435 S4-mini Pandora only working over wifi

My phone is rooted but still using original rom. I do remember that the kernel had to be changed when rooting so towelroot would work but I cjsvgefchanged it back afterward.

I'm using Pandora 6.2 along with Pandora Patcher 6.2 and xposed framework. Even if I disable the Patcher and download the current version of Pandora the same thing happens, it will only stream over a wifi connection. I've been looking everywhere for an answer to this issue but haven't been able to find and solutions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Quattro with Emergency Calls Only, Please help !

I have a Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro (1 year old), which suddenly started showing "Emergency Calls Only" message with both SIM slots. No matter what SIM is used new or old or any provider it simply dont connect to netwrok. Other symptions are:

• Singal strength is good.


• Shows all available networks in manual search.


• IMEI is valid and not stolen or spoofed. imei info shows everything alright.


• In status shows Network = Unknown, Service State = Out of service

Things I have tried:

• Factory reset, hard reset from recovery, data wipe etc.


• CWM with custom roms like Trans-K and TransWin


• Rooted and changed CSC type from INS to INU


• Installed latest official firmware from SamMobile

But nothing helped till now. Please suggest what to do now. Service provide says problem is with your phone and SIM is perfectly fine works with other phones.

emergency calls only

Hi all,
sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, im new here!
I rooted my phone earlier today with LiquidSmooth rom 4.4.4 and since doing so ive lost all signals (wifi still works)
before rooting with that however, i tried another rom which i didnt like and it downgraded cwm to an earlier version and i think i may of messed about with the field test setting without realising.
ive got everything back up to scratch but im still without a signal and can only make emergency calls

can anyone help me out?

Only E-ink screen

Purpose is to use only the e-ink screen for phone calls, reading, emails, music. Is it possible to use just the e-ink screen or you need always to mirror the lcd screen?

Phone only vibrates for a split second when set to vibrate.

Hopefully someone can help me here. When I set my phone to VIBRATE, it vibrates for what I would say is a split second where as I usually don't notice Am i missing something? Is there a setting so I can make it vibrate more often? Thanks!

Custom Rom which allows user to run Specific apps only

Is there a way to create a custom rom that would allow me to use only specific apps? For example: Only calculator app can be opened, other apps should not be able to install.
Basically is there a way to have Only SystemUI and required app as a rom? If yes, Please guide:confused::crying::angel:

AFTV2: LED only works, when handling the control

The led only flashes, when I'm using the remote. When the AFTV2 is working aka watching a movie, the led is turned off.
So its impossible to decide, when the TV is off, if the AFTV2 is on or off...

12/24hr Format Issue with Huawei Watch Faces Only....

Could someone help me out? Every digital or combination watch face that came with the watch only shows the date in 24 hour format. Every other 3rd part digital watch face works perfectly. I've scoured the internet and can't find anyone else with this issue. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
