Voice Quality Problem in WhatsApp (CM12.1 Snapshot)

Hello,

I got a little problem.

I am using currently CM12.1 Snapshot on my Moto G2 Titan.

If I record Whatsapp Voice Notes, the quality is a piece of **** and my voice is like cancer......

On the stock Motorola ROM is the quality really nice, but here.....

What can I do for fix it?

After a long time. I will launch the update of my module. You can customize the appearance of the latest versions WhatsApp, Store and Beta versions. (only WhatsApp official, NO mods).

This module will not focus on privacy at any time, because we could be in breach of the terms of WhatsApp, respect to manipulation the working of servers.

Requests of any kind will not be accepted. This is something I do as a hobby, so I will add the new features that I believe appropriate.


Features:

• Independent customization of each section of the application.


• You can change color backgrounds, fonts and icons.


• New icons and ticks in diferences sections.


• Personalized customization of different images of the application.


• Hiding unwanted elements or of little use.


• Direct access from inside the application to module.

Requirements:

• Xposed Framework


• Android 4.0.3 or higher.


• WhatsApp 2.12.264 or higher.

Instructions:

1. Download the module and install.


2. Activate it in Modules section of Xposed Installer, and reboot device.


3. Open KMod and


4. Make all the changes you want in Customization section.


5. To see the changes made, click on the refresh icon, located to the top right.


6. To save a theme, go to the Backup section, or click the save icon at the top of the application.


7. To load an item, go to the Backup section, select the item you want to upload, and wait the message that the theme has been loaded.

FAQ:

Q: Why it doesn't work in some versions of WhatsApp?
A: This only works in official versions of WhatsApp higher than that specified in the requirements.

Q: Installed and activated the module, why the changes do not apply to WhatsApp?
A: Maybe you have not successfully activated the module, deactivate, activate, and then restart of device. You may also be using a version of WhatsApp not compatible with the module.

Q: Can't download themes from the cloud?
A: At the moment this option is not available, you can upload your themes to external and share servers.

Q: Where was it saved, or where should I save new themes to load them into KMOD?
A: Used to place their issues on your SD card or internal memory, in the /KMod/Themes route. Make sure the directory exists before placing, if doesn't exist, open the module for create directories.

Q: I have changed the application icon, and no changes are applied.
A: After changing the application icon you must restart your device. If it still doesn't change the icon, you may be using a launcher who does not support changing the application icon (such as Nova Launcher).

CM11 XperiaV whatsapp and others can not save files

Hi !

I installed CM11 on my XperiaV and all the apps like Whatsapp or FB messanger can not save pictures or files.
Read a lot of the threads regarding this problem but could not fix it.
The folder /data/data/com.whatsapp is there, but I think all the apps want to access sdcard0 for that???
But that is in read only filesystem mounted.
mount shows that:

[Q]Recover Lost Whatsapp Message Folder

Hi, guys.

I recently cleaned wipe my android through philz recovery to install a new rom.
I'm using titanium backup to backup/restore all my apps. However, after the installation of new ROM.. while restoring my apps.. I notice that my Whatsapp (the only app) isn't backup to recent one..

It was supposed to perform a backup dated 11 OCT.. However, when I checked the backup folder only to find out the Whatsapp backup was dated 27 SEPT instead. Therefore, titanium backup did not backup my message between 28 SEPT - 11 OCT.

Is there any way for me to get my messages back within this missing dates?

I tried some android recovery tools just to realized most were "fake".

Hoping to get some solutions. Thanks in advance.

Notifications are all delayed. WhatsApp. Line. Gmail.

Moto x pure. Rooted and unlocked

Currently all my notifications don't show up. I need to open the app and then all of them will appear. After I open the app notifications will work like normal for around 10-15 minutes.

Anyone experienced this or have some ideas to troubleshoot?

It almost seems like background data is suddenly restricted. This happens on lte and WiFi.

Here is my problem :
let's say I receive a whatsapp or telegram notification and I delete it from the notification center (I don't open the app),

then, 2 hours later this notification come back


is there a way to delete definitively a notification (without opening the app ) ? Maybe an xposed module ? i am root

wanted to know if there is way that a blocked number can get unblocked without willingly doing it. my gf blocked me many days back, after that i couldn't send her message nor could see her status,picture. but since last few days I could see her status,picture again. does this mean she has unblocked me? & probably wants to hear from me

Excesive battery drain on Existenz 3.5 due to... whatsapp?

My Z2's battery is draining really, REALLY fast. In a normal day I only use it to check whatsapp sometimes and mostly to hear some music.

I have Existenz 3.5 installed on my phone and I thought it might be rom related issue so I clean install a couple of times and nothing happened. Then, I checked on the battery stats and saw that the Whatsapp was the app that was consuming the most amount of battery (30%) then the Google Play Music (around 9%) and so on... So I decided to greenify Whatsapp... Still the same thing.

While all this happened I should say that auto sync was disabled, I was using 2G, the minimun brightness and barely turn my screen on.

After all this happened I decided to put the phone into Android's battery saving mode, still nothing happened. I don't now what to do, I also already calibrated my battery.

Is this soft-hard ware related problem? What should I do?

P.S.
I'll post the screen capture as soon as my phone wakes off it's dream.

For you WhatsApp users that don't plan on rooting for whatever reason:

They just re-implemented Google Drive backups. Version 2.12.302 from www.whatsapp.com/android has this functionality enabled.
2.12.300 is the latest from the Play Store now.

Just FYI for those that use it and will eventually transfer it + history to your new 6P

hey guys I wanted to ask do anyone use whatsapp ? if yes did they fix the whats app notifitions on fire OS as it was not working when I Was using it on fire OS thus making me switched to CM11

Whatsapp Contacts

Well I have been looking for way to delete the contacts from whatsapp, I read a lot of ways and non of them seems to be working

When I look in my contacts, I will find

1. Contact from Gmail (I want all my contacts to stay there)
2. Facebook
3. Linkedin contacts ( Now I stopped the sync of contacts from there)
4. Whatsapp contacts

When I merge (join) all my contacts using the stock contacts app, I end up with a long list of repeated numbers within the contact card itself with sources in the bottom ( Gmail, facebook, Whatsapp) and if I try to split them and delete the whatsapp one it says it will not be deleted but it will be hidden

is there a way to delete the Whatsapp contacts from the phone or whatsapp server ? I hate it when my contacts are a complete mess
