Can't Boot into Recovery - Lost Root Access
Hi,
Below is was my setup:
Latest TWRP Recovery
Alucard Kernel
S4 i9505
CM12.1 nightly
XPOSED v75
Viper4Android
Two days ago I decided to flash the sabermod kernel. At first I couldn't install it using the .zip (script error of some sort)
I then flashed the boot.img file as boot.
The phone was working fine for two days (rebooted twice at least).
On every Friday I download the latest nightly and flash it using the dirty flash method.
This is when I ran into trouble...
The TWRP is stuck on the Team Win screen.
I found a way to boot normally and decided to flash the alucard kernel back using Kernel Adiutor (boot.img).
The phone booted but now I have endless process stop errors (com.google.process.gapps) and I have lost root.
I need help...
Regards,
Jat

Soft-Bricked, can't get computer to detect device
So, i was trying to flash a stock ROM in Odin, and it failed, so now I'm soft-bricked. I was going to go ahead and retry but now I can't get Odin to detect my device. It's a Verizon S5, the G900v. I've installed drivers, uninstalled drivers, tried multiple cables and multiple computers and I get the same thing every time; "USB Device is unrecognized". I can only get it into download mode, but nothing will recognize it. Any help would be appreciated.
Can't make calls on VZW after switching back from Fi
I decided to give Project Fi a try after the word came down about Verizon raising the rates for unlimited data plans. Long story short, it's not for me. The coverage stinks in the areas I travel. Battery life took a big hit due to it having trouble finding and keeping a signal. I thought it would be better having looked at the TMo coverage maps. Anyway, that's a different topic.
I hadn't canceled my Verizon account so I put that SIM back in and it seems like I am connected to Verizon's network again. All the texts sent to that number came through once the phone was turned on with the VZW SIM back in. However, I can't make any calls. I get an operator error about being unable to complete the call. The Cellular Network Settings only has a roaming setting. Don't have the Enhanced VoLTE option and the other things I had prior to switching to Fi. Did the *#*#4636#*#* thing to try turning the radio off and on, turning on the VoLTE provisioning flag, rebooted, etc. No change in my ability to make calls. Anyone have any ideas what I need to do to get voice calls working again? If it matters, I am on 5.1.1 LMY48T.

[HELP] Can't get stock recovery
Hi guys. Used custom roms, didn't like them so I decided to get back on stock. I have only one problem, and that is stock recovery. I couldn't found any proper recovery for my phone. I've downloaded 3 of them, and every time, I've got big red exclamation mark :S. So If you guys could help me, I would really appreciate it.

Can't download apps through the playstore on CM 12.1
Is this something that other people are experiencing? I can't use the playstore to download apps. They get to a certain percentage of download and then stop. I've tried with quite a few different things. The only one that worked was hangouts. I've tried and tried, reset a lot but to no avail. I've had to load the APKs onto the device and do it that way.
PS I would post in the 12.1 thread but I'm too new. :p

Kingroot unrooted still can't OTA update
So I used kingroot a while ago. Wish I hadn't because it didnt give me full root access (probably an error on my part to be fair) and has since stopped me from receiving OTA updates. I have unrooted and uninstalled SU apps but I am still getting the 'could not verify' error.
Is there anything I can do without losing my data/having to set the phone up again to receive OTA updates? Unfortunately I do not have access to a windows machine Atm.

I have rom, so can't use new android pay. How to stop getting updated.
I am on a custom rom (N5 on CM12.1) and rooted so android pay will not work for me. Now I am not too upset about not being able to pay with it, but it is kinda dumb that I can't even get access to my loyalty and gift cards without adding a credit card. So I uninstalled android pay, installed v8 of google wallet. I then unlinked to market using Titatinium backup, but the next day I see not only is it reconnected to market, but is due for update. I disconnected it from market again, and verified that it didn't show up as needing an update, but the next day I see that android pay has been updated.
So my real question is there no way to access loyalty cards without adding credit card? If not I am guessing that google play services is taking control of things and is automatically updating google wallet whether it is linked to market or not, so what can I do to stop it updating itself?
Thanks.

Hi I have a A520L Alcatel Pop Star Nova Lte. I had try many root method like Kingo Root, King Root, Towelroot, Framaroot and Wondershare MobileGo, all those cant root my phone successfully. Some are them success rooted but after 4 to 5 minutes I check "root checker" it says I dont have root access. Sometime on other way I go to stock recovery mode, it doesnt have "apply to sd card or external" which is sucks that I cant go there to zip any files or su binary update in order to root. It only have wipe data and wipe cache. No I cant download CWM or any kind of app to flash it because I dont have root permission yet. Can anybody help to root my phone?
Blu Studio C can't connect to 3G network
I've got a Blu Studio C running on Android 5.0 for a month or so and I'm very pleased with it, the only problem is I can't get access to a 3G network.
Network mode on phone is 2G/3G/4G (auto). SIM is in the GSM/WCDMA slot.
It only connects to the 2G network which is very slow. I tried the SIM in an other phone and the connection is excellent, so it's not an sim/provider issue.
My Blu Studio C is not rooted.
I live in Holland. Could it be that my phone is not suitable for use in Europe? I bought my device on Curacao.
Can I make some adjustments to my phone when it's rooted to tackle this problem?
Can anybody help me please.

Can't select .ab file for Titanium Backup Pro
Hi there,
I made a backup of my phone's data using adb backup (data only) and now want to use Titanium Backup Pro to restore some of it to my phone after a data wipe when I unlocked the bootloader. I'm trying to follow their kb article on restoring from a .ab backup but when I try to select my file it's simply greyed out and I cannot select it.
I'm using a Sony Xperia Z C6603 rooted with TWRP on the stock rom and all.
Cheers

Can't boot into ROM because of incorrect Xposed Framework flashed
So my boot is stuck at the Cyanogen logo. I believe this happened because I flashed an incorrect zip file of a previous Xposed version (74 instead of 75).
I need to push either the Xposed Uninstaller, or the correct v75 version, to the phone's sdcard storage without being able to boot.
My phone is a rooted OnePlus One, with the latest Sultan's Unofficial CyanogenMod and TWRP Custom Recovery installed.
Booting into Fastboot Mode, the cmd command [fastboot devices] gives me back my device ID, but [adb devices] does not.
The [adb push] command does not seem to be working; I keep getting the [error: device '(null)' not found] message.
I tried USB mounting using the MOUNT menu in TWRP, but I keep hearing the Windows sound for *device unplugged*, and my storage never appears to allow me to explore it (I'm on Windows 8.1).
Any idea what's going on? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
