Boots always into fastboot after very long boot-time

He guys,

I can't start my T-Mobil branded Htc one sv (unmodified, everything stock and locked)

Every time I power on the phone there is a very very long boot time (up to 3min) and after this I'm in the bootloader.
Also fastboot commands with direct reboot into bootloader or fastboot leads to the full boot-time like I would do a normal boot.

HTC-Screen -> HTC-Screen with Beats by Dr.Dre -> T-Mobile-Screen -> bootloader

All resets are pointless.
If I enter recovery I can see the blackscreen with the icon in the middle, but there is no menu with options.

I can't unlock the bootloader. If I use the official unlock file I can enter the unlock-menu but if I select "yes" it starts the long boot-phase which ends in a still locked bootloader.

So I'm unable to install anything.

In recovery is also no adb available.

I tried to install a RUU but this always fails because the reboot directly into fastboot doesn't work (So this is my explanation)

So I have no idea what I can do. I think it's a hardware damage but I'm not sure how to check this.

Any ideas if I can do anything or should I just say goodbye ;)

Thanks for your help
Julian

Can't Boot into Recovery - Lost Root Access

Hi,

Below is was my setup:

Latest TWRP Recovery
Alucard Kernel
S4 i9505
CM12.1 nightly
XPOSED v75
Viper4Android

Two days ago I decided to flash the sabermod kernel. At first I couldn't install it using the .zip (script error of some sort)

I then flashed the boot.img file as boot.

The phone was working fine for two days (rebooted twice at least).

On every Friday I download the latest nightly and flash it using the dirty flash method.

This is when I ran into trouble...

The TWRP is stuck on the Team Win screen.

I found a way to boot normally and decided to flash the alucard kernel back using Kernel Adiutor (boot.img).

The phone booted but now I have endless process stop errors (com.google.process.gapps) and I have lost root.

I need help...

Regards,

Jat

Can't boot into ROM because of incorrect Xposed Framework flashed

So my boot is stuck at the Cyanogen logo. I believe this happened because I flashed an incorrect zip file of a previous Xposed version (74 instead of 75).

I need to push either the Xposed Uninstaller, or the correct v75 version, to the phone's sdcard storage without being able to boot.

My phone is a rooted OnePlus One, with the latest Sultan's Unofficial CyanogenMod and TWRP Custom Recovery installed.

Booting into Fastboot Mode, the cmd command [fastboot devices] gives me back my device ID, but [adb devices] does not.

The [adb push] command does not seem to be working; I keep getting the [error: device '(null)' not found] message.

I tried USB mounting using the MOUNT menu in TWRP, but I keep hearing the Windows sound for *device unplugged*, and my storage never appears to allow me to explore it (I'm on Windows 8.1).

Any idea what's going on? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

[HELP!] Got into a boot loop and now my computer won't recognize my device.

First of all, sorry for the bit of a text wall below, but if you could bare with me, I really need help and would greatly appreciate any comments that could be of help. Thank you.

So I was looking at a thread on how to do something so I changed two lines on build.prop. I made a back up of the original build.prop file. So my phone was able to start up but everything was invisible and couldn't do anything other than use my notification shade and respond to messages. I ended up turning on emergency mode then I turned it off right after and that fixed it. I guess I messed up when I copy and pasted the original build.prop and replaced it with the one that made my phone mess up in the first place. This messed it up my phone even more and now it's in a bootloop. I can only go into ODIN download mode and recovery. I tried clearing system cache but that didn't help at all. The first time my phone messed up it showed up as a drive on a few different computers that I used, but once the bootloop started it won't be recognized as a drive on any of the three computers I tried. It shows up as "Gadget Serial" when in download mode and when it's powered off it shows as SAMSUNG_Android. I have installed the Samsung phone drivers on two of the computers but that didn't help either.

When it shows up as SAMSUNG_Android it shows that MTP USB Device didn't install properly. I was thinking maybe that's what is causing the problem? I am using the original usb cable that came with the phone. Odin recognizes it so I could always restore it with a ROM, but I need to backup my photos (to my fault, I haven't done a backup in awhile) before I restore it to a fresh ROM. No android file explorers show it either, or a root explorer like Droid Explorer. I've also tried to connect it to a mac (third computer) but that doesn't show up either.

Some person suggested to me to restore with a ROM that saves data, but to no avail, I couldn't find one (anybody know of any?)

I was also reading about using the wipe data/factory reset, but I couldn't get a straight answer if it deletes or keeps the data in the SD Card section on the internal storage (does anybody know?)

So I feel like I might be screwed and may lose my photos and other data. If I could connect my phone to my computer properly, I might be able to edit build.prop again to fix the problem. If I can't connect it to my computer ever, is there any other way I could back up my photos or other data? I have a OTG cable if that helps at all.

Some additional info: I'm on a stock ROM, stock kernal, and rooted. And yes I had R/W on when editing build.prop.

So any ideas guys, I really need to get my phone up and running again.
Thanks in advanced.

Can't boot into recovery

I tried booting into recovery today, and my R7 Plus just boots normally. It gives the vibrate indication, and then the OPPO logo flashes on for a split second... but then it gives up booting into recovery, the screen goes black again, and the phone boots normally.

If I hold down volume [-] and power, it keeps flashing the Oppo logo and then black screening every second until I let go of the buttons. It seems to me like it keeps trying to boot into recovery and then something goes wrong. After I let go of the buttons, it boots normally.

Booting to recovery through Flashify didn't work; it gave the same Oppo logo-flash before turning back and booting normally.

For some more background, after rooting my phone, I did some deleting of .com files and other Oppo-associated apps/files; I'm not a fan of ColorOS and any Oppo bloatware, so I probably deleted some pretty important stuff. Actually, I'm pretty sure I deleted something important along the way.

I would like to do a clean install to get all of the key firmware modules/files back, I can't do that without access to recovery. I tried unrooting and installing an official update, but that failed since I can't access recovery. What's more, I can't re-root because, again, recovery isn't available. "Oppo Tools" can't root, and KingRoot doesn't either.

If I do a factory reset, does that restore all of the ColorOS data, including restoring deleted OS files, or does it just delete my user data and I still won't be able to boot into recovery?

Thanks a lot.

6 hours wasted so far, how do I get CWM onto the SD card and boot into it?

I've been reading forums, blogs, etc for nearly 6 hours now trying to get this to work.
What I have: Nook HD+ with 32GB internal storage and I have a 32GB microSD card.
What I want: To get rid (if possible) of the stock Nook operating system entirely because sometimes it boots to it and it's very annoying.
Was trying to follow instructions here: http://www.xaprb.com/blog/2015/01/19...d-nook-hdplus/
But having zero luck getting CWM working. First of all, which CWM and I supposed to use? There's so many versions and files floating around out there.
What should the partition be on my SD card? Should there be more than one partition? I've done this before with cell phones and never had any trouble, but I've wasted nearly a day trying to do this.
Every time I boot, it goes to the stock Nook crap.....At a loss for what to do. Please advise..

Can't sign into Google account after wiping/flashing phone

I wiped my GNex (Boot into CWM recovery, Wipe Data/factory reset, Wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvik Cache, Format /system) and sideloaded the latest release CyanogenMod 11 ROM (cm-11-20150626-SNAPSHOT-XNG3CAO1L8-maguro.zip) along with GApps. When I try to enter my Google account information into the Google Play Store app, I get the "Couldn't sign in" screen which says I must sign in on the Web. Pressing "Next" sends me to the browser, but the Google page that comes up displays a broken-robot image with the message "The page you requested is invalid."

How can I give my phone my Google account information? Thanks for your help.

Phone is not recognized when plugged into computer...

So I think something on my USB port has malfunctioned... it won't show up in the device manager when I plug it in.

I have tried the sticky thread on Diagnosing USB Driver and ADB issues in Windows. I have searched the forums and internet and tried lots of driver installs and restart this and that.

Recently this started when I wanted to flash Android 6.0 to my phone. During the install with NRT after each erase and flash it would say Waiting for device, and the only way I would get it to proceed was to plug the USB and plug it back in... Now running Android 6.0 it won`t even recognize my device and won`t pop up the menu to choose your usb connection setting.

I have two Nexus 7, one Nexus 7 (2013), and another Nexus 5... and they all work fine and get recognized by the computer.

Please help, and is this fixable.
