Network Problem (Galaxy s6 Edge G925F)

Hello Everyone,

I have encountered a problem with my samsung galaxy s6 edge, i bought this phone from ebay, and i am using this phone in sweden with my halebop(telia) network. Problem is when i am in coverage area of 4G my phone will show the signal and will be have full coverage and everything works perfectly, but when i am in area where there is only 3g, my 3g works but there is no coverage on my phone, i tried to do it manually assiging the network in 2g/3g auto mode it says network registered but still no network on my phone. Before buying i even checked the history of the phone, it was not black listed and not stolen nothing. Moreover if i use my sim of Pakistan or sim of Dubai it works perfectly even shifts to network (if i chose 2G/3G auto or 2G only ) it works fine but don't work with my sim.

Can anyone please guide me because i am searching it internet but couldn't find anything. I also order new unlock code and even after inserting the code phone says unlock successful but still problem of the coverage.

Duplicate emails and Network Notification Sound

There are two main things that are killing me atm...

1. If I send an email to myself on the gmail app I'll get duplicates instead of one... WHY IS THAT!?! i tried everything I can think of to stop it...

2. My phone all of a sudden started doing a audible notification when I do or don't have a network signal and it's driving me nuts... I looked everywhere in setting. I seem to remember a settings where you can shut off the notification sound off. As of now I have "notification sounds" off.

For reference I'm on 5.1.1 thanks for your help in advanced.

Updating unlocked att lg g3 on metro pcs network.

Ive seen some videos about updating to lollipop stock rooted rom but I'm not sure if I'm able to do this without messing up the phone. I bought the phone unlocked and rooted so I'm not sure what was done to it but I really just want to update to the latest stock rom without losing everything on my phone if possible.. sorry I'm really knew to this but i do have all the programs to do the installs just not sure if I can do this like I said. Any help advice or direction would be appreciated!

How to browse network drives?

On my previous Samsung devices (Galaxy S5, Tab S 10.5"), there was an option under the My Files app to "Scan for nearby devices". I would use this to access my network media drives to copy to/from files. This option is no longer available in the My Files app on the Tab S2. Is this feature available somewhere else on the Tab S2? How can I access my network drives now from the Tab S2?

2G/LTE Network Toggle

Hi,

Has anyone find a way to toggle from 2G/3G/LTE automatically.

I've tried Tasker, but ii says it's not supported.
I've tried Smart Networks for Xposed but I loose all connection when it tries to get back to LTE.
I've also tried Toggle Network Type 5.0 and I also can't get back to LTE.

[Sim card unlock] My network operator blocked my sim network

Hi everybody!
I have sim card and it was working fine, one day I opened my phone then there was no network, I could search for networks manually but I couldn't choose the right network it shows " Cannot choose network please try again later " and when I use apps to see sim status it shows " Sim locked " .
My phone isn't locked and I can use other sim cards from the same operator, maybe my network operator blocked my sim for some reason, I just wanna know if there is some way to make it work again.
And thanks, I'm new in Xda-developers BTW :D

Blu Studio C can't connect to 3G network

I've got a Blu Studio C running on Android 5.0 for a month or so and I'm very pleased with it, the only problem is I can't get access to a 3G network.
Network mode on phone is 2G/3G/4G (auto). SIM is in the GSM/WCDMA slot.
It only connects to the 2G network which is very slow. I tried the SIM in an other phone and the connection is excellent, so it's not an sim/provider issue.
My Blu Studio C is not rooted.
I live in Holland. Could it be that my phone is not suitable for use in Europe? I bought my device on Curacao.
Can I make some adjustments to my phone when it's rooted to tackle this problem?
Can anybody help me please.

Using GER device on FR network (n9005)

Hello ,

Since two years, I live hell with my GSM bought new, but normally intended for the German market.
I tried several operators / sim card but nothing works. Today using lollipop (OTA ) my device is slow, laggy, bugged... and I 'm sick of losing the networks again and again ... so i think i need new software for my device.

Right now I'm rooting the device and then i will need a good rom ..... but which on (?) ( I DL this rom " N9005XXUGPOF3_AryaMod_V7.3_Public " because....I don't know .... it must be correct , right ?)

Then I wonder: Do my network problemes are comming from the fact it's a device for german network....is there anything to do for the modem, maybe it's possible to force it as if it were a device intended for the french network... ?

Here Many questions .... I love this phone , it saddens me to change because of possible software concern... : /

no network connection

hello guys
so i recently bough the micromax canvas a1 version aq4502 i flashed cm 12.1 rom that i downloaded for my aq4501 in it the rom seems to worked fine but i reverted back to the stock firmware after flashing the stock firmware i noticed the network connection error sim seems to be connected but it just doesnt work and its really annoying so i did some research to get rid of it tried some imei changing softwares but most of them give error like metadata fail but one really worked for me i sucessfuly get my imei number back but im still getting the no network connection problem whenever i dial any number i tried everything but nothing seems to help me

Gravity Box and Smart Network?

Does anyone use xposed framework in connection with Gravity Box to control the network connections on the P8000? I have installed Gravity Box but the network does not switch from 4G to 2G when the screen is locked.

Has anyone successfully tried this with Gravity Box?

3G Network not working on my Alcatel OT POP C1 with CM11 ROM installed!!!

I was very bored of my stock rom and I decided to install a cm11 rom for my phone...After I flashed the rom I rebooted my phone.Everything was great but then I realised that I don't have access to 3G net....Plz help me :(

[Problem] Note 5 doesn't want to connect to any type of N network...

For some reason my Note5 won't connect to *any* N network. 2.4 Ghz or 5 Ghz doesn't seem to make a difference nor open or encryption, simply won't connect.

The following was in logcat. Not sure what status_code=18, a google around didn't reveal anything. Tried various kernels without success. Galaxy S6, Macbook connect just fine. You can force your router into N only mode to test.

No network after replacing screen

Hello.
After replacing the screen from a Z3 the network signal disappeared. It reads my sim (phone reeboot after puting in card), but if i want do a call it says that i'm still in flight mode...

Can't run Android TV apps (WWE Network)

Hi, so I have a Shield Tablet (stock, not rooted) and want to watch WWE Network from outside the US, but the WWE Android app requires GPS verification that though I can fake, but the process takes very very long every time I select another video to watch and for some reason the streaming quality is always in SD.

There is a WWE Network app on Google Play for Android TV that doesn't have the GPS verification, but I can't download it with a non-Android TV device. So I grabbed it somewhere else and sideloaded it to my tablet. It did install, but I can't open it. The "Open" text in the window that comes up after sideloading an apk is greyed out or missing (can't remember anymore), and the app is nowhere to be found besides in the app management settings.

I mean, why can't I run the app? Afaik Android TV is a restricted version of the full Android, so the full Android should be able to run Android TV apps, right?. Is there a hack that lets me run Android TV apps on my tablet? Can I perhaps install Android TV on my tablet if nothing else works?

no network connection pls help

hi got a nexus 6 the other day of ebay it was unlocked tried my o2 sim in the uk everything fine only prob was no 4g. so looked online and tried using this code *#*#4636#*#* which brought me to the information of the phone, messed about with the settings now after trying everything no network, when i go into apn settings to choose network there is none there. the only settings i touched were 1. i turned radio on and off 2. ipicked the band 7 3. picked the network i choose lte i havn,t got a clue any ideas would be great. tried factory reinstall no luck..

WiFi / network profile manager

On my laptop I use an application called NetSetMan which allows me to store different profiles so that with one click of the mouse I can connect to the LAN or WiFi or whatever using different parameters. That allows me to choose different subnets, different gateways and DNS servers.

To do the same on Android I would have to go to Settings / Connections / WiFi and then choose one conection, then "Modify Config" and so on. Ans when I want to switch back to some other settings I would have to do this all over again, and remember all the gateway and DN settings.

Is there an application on Android similar to NetSetMan to let me switch configuration quickly?

Samsung SM-G900T Network trouble

Hi,
I've got a Galaxy S5 from USA,T-Mobile version SM-G900T.If i'm going into my home in Poland he losts network.I don't know how to fix this problem.My Sim Card is from Orange but on notification panel i see "(searching)" but sometimes it changes into "Orange"Everyone in my family don't have problems with network range.Please help :D

lg g2 network problems

G2 Mini G620J no network :(

Hello everyone.....few days ago I flashed the wrong bootstacks on my D620J and now I have no network :crying: everything else is working fine(wifi/camera). The SIM card is detected and the carrier name is shown in lockscreen, I don't know what to do :(
I even tried the *#*#4636#*#* menu to turn the radio on but It doesn't turn on. I'm guessing It's because of the wrong "modem.img" that was inside that bootstacks.

does anyone here have the D620J that can extract the "modem.img" and upload it somewhere ?

also, I have the source code for D620J downloaded from LG website, but I have no idea what to do with this :confused:
any help will be greatly appreciated :)

S5 G900F HSPA Data Network Error!!

Dear forum members!
1) I got S5 G900F Model with lollipop installed from my friend.
2) He give it to me because it will not receive WCDMA Signals at all. When it switches to WCDMA it will not capable to make voice calls and notification panel shows Emergency Calls Only.
3)It's fully functionalwith GSM Calls and EDGE data

It had G900FXXU1BOH4 Firmware !!!

Then i downgraded it to KitKat firmware version G900FXXU1ANE2_G900FODD1AND2

Now it works with GSM Calls, EDGE and with WCDMA But Only Calls in WCDMA mode.

It will get H+ Indication for few seconds but Never receives data. Browser shows up DNS Lookup error. But SIM is fully functional

So any Experts here to guide me right path???
Because i think it's messed with MODEM firmware or something.
