Can't select .ab file for Titanium Backup Pro

Hi there,

I made a backup of my phone's data using adb backup (data only) and now want to use Titanium Backup Pro to restore some of it to my phone after a data wipe when I unlocked the bootloader. I'm trying to follow their kb article on restoring from a .ab backup but when I try to select my file it's simply greyed out and I cannot select it.

I'm using a Sony Xperia Z C6603 rooted with TWRP on the stock rom and all.

Cheers

Can't copy titanium backup files to PC [LGG4]

I used to be able to do this with my Galaxy S5, though that was always on Windows 8, I'm on 10 now.

When I connect to my computer to find my backup folder it is just a blank white icon that is 0kb, but if I look at it with ES File Explorer I can see everything fine. I see no way to upload a folder through onedrive or drive and ES File Explorer won't let me share over 100 files. I have over 600 files in the backup and I don't want to have to manually select all of them.

What is going on? How can I back up my back up to my PC? All other files and such are easily accessible through the computer

Thanks

Titanium Backup wont get root

Hi,

ehm soz for my bad english :)

SuperSU was preinstalled!

I got rrot access there for sense tool box, root explorer etc.

Today i installed Titanum backup and now its getting interesting:

[Titanium Backup] Update.zip too large

HI,

I'm having trouble with my update.zip file, created with Titanium Backup. I created it on my old Oneplus One thinking this would help me send all my data to my new Oneplus One. However, the file is 2.4GB, so too large to flash it with TWRP. This is the only backup I made before losing my old Oneplus, so I'd really like to get my data back.

Does anyone know if there's a way to use this update.zip file and maybe modify it to make it smaller and flashable with TWRP ? Or maybe use another recovery that doesn't have the 2GB limit ?

Thanks a lot.

Titanium Backup restore from Nandroid on 6.0?

So I know people have been having issues with restoring data on Titanium in general, but does anyone have a fix for Nandroid restore? Titanium is having problems detecting the folders, and to my knowledge there's no way to manually change the location for TWRP backups.

Titanium backup help

Hi everyone. I'm fairly new to Titanium backup and could use some help. I had a Samsung Galaxy s2 that was rooted. I installed Titanium and backed up all user apps under batch actions. I did NOT backup system data because I was told restoring that information onto a new phone would lead to a bad time. I'm trying to restore to a rooted Samsung Galaxy s5 and when I run Titanium it doesn't find any of the app data on my microSD card. When I go to batch actions / restore / user app data it finds nothing. Is there any way to migrate the data I need from my s2 to my s5?

Both are from Virgin Mobile, if it matters. Thank you.

Titanium backup and 6.0

Has anyone been able to restore their apps via titanium? I backed up all my apps from 5.1.1 and when I try to restore on 6.0 titanium crashes. Any suggestions are welcome, thanks.

Cannot Restore Apps in Titanium Backup using Android 6.0

I'm having trouble restoring apps+data in Titanium Backup after flashing Android 6.0. I'm rooted (Supersu 2.50 plus modified boot.img provided by Chainfire).

When I restore the apps+data, the progess is stuck at 0%. I'm suspecting there's something wrong with my BusyBox, any thoughts?

Thanks

Titanium backup pro won't restore apps

Hi guys, as the title says, I'm having problems restoring apps and app data both individually and through batch restore. I've tried changing the SuperSU mounting method, different versions of TB and changed the app processing mode. I've tried it all on the latest version of TB and the version before that. I have no problems backing up apps though. If I try manually installing the apk (after extracting it from the archive TB backs them up to) it installs fine. BusyBox is also installed, USB debugging is enabled and apps from unknown sources is also checked.

I would manually install all the apps, but I want app data restored too and it would be a very tedious job since I have quite a few to restore (some 173 apps) as I just updated to Marshmallow.

Any advice on what I could try next?

Titanium Backup license key and Android M

Hi,

When trying to restore my applications via TB, the license key which is found on the root of the internal storage is not being read after upgrading to Android M. This worked in Android L so I was wondering if anyone has experienced this issue and if there is a way around it? I changed my backup location to the proper location but it still has not been able to read my license key which is a .txt and the .bin file.
