SlimROM on my GNex was the greatest thing ever (and just booted it up today too actually, was thinking of putting MM on it). Glad to hear you guys are back and looking forward to using your roms again!

Can't make calls on VZW after switching back from Fi
I decided to give Project Fi a try after the word came down about Verizon raising the rates for unlimited data plans. Long story short, it's not for me. The coverage stinks in the areas I travel. Battery life took a big hit due to it having trouble finding and keeping a signal. I thought it would be better having looked at the TMo coverage maps. Anyway, that's a different topic.
I hadn't canceled my Verizon account so I put that SIM back in and it seems like I am connected to Verizon's network again. All the texts sent to that number came through once the phone was turned on with the VZW SIM back in. However, I can't make any calls. I get an operator error about being unable to complete the call. The Cellular Network Settings only has a roaming setting. Don't have the Enhanced VoLTE option and the other things I had prior to switching to Fi. Did the *#*#4636#*#* thing to try turning the radio off and on, turning on the VoLTE provisioning flag, rebooted, etc. No change in my ability to make calls. Anyone have any ideas what I need to do to get voice calls working again? If it matters, I am on 5.1.1 LMY48T.

Asus ZenFone 2 Back Cover Cracking
Hi guys!
I recently noticed that the back cover on my ZenFone 2 has started to crack on the corners from the cover being taken off (http://imgur.com/a/xNyXw) after talking to a friend who also owns the ZenFone 2 who said that the same exact thing was happening to them I decided to talk to Asus support about any viable replacement options and unfortunately the only option I was provided with was to RMA the device either by just sending them my phone and having to wait for them to fix it and send it back to me, or the RMA Express option which costs .00 (and you have to put a credit card on file with them) and they'll ship you a new phone and you just send them the broken one and you're done. I personally find these options a little unfair as I'm someone who needs their phone and can't really wait a month for my phone to be fixed or afford to pay a .00 processing fee to get a new phone sent to me, and I really think that Asus should just be shipping a new back cover to customers who are experiencing this issue, like Apple did with the bottom cover replacement for the MacBook Unibody 2009-2010, and get the customer to ship the cracked cover back to Asus.

EDIT: Oh just a note, I have always been super careful with this phone, and I've only taken the back cover off 2-3 times and always gently. And I've never dropped the phone and it's been in a case since day one.

Back function U-touch button stopped working after CyanogenMod update
Last night my Zuk prompted a CyanogenMod update , which I installed. Now, the back function of the home button (by just touching it, not pressing) doesn't work anymore. Any ideas on how to fix this ?

Help lost root via 4.4.2 can I still get root back?
So I have a Verizon Galaxy S4, I had root, I accidentally hit the over the air update button when it popped up.
Anyways I've lost root, is there anyway I can still get it back? If so could someone please have point me in the right direction.

SE for Android Status: Enforcing SEPF_SCH-I545_4.4.2_0027
Secure boot status: Type: Samsung

Thank you for any help I am humbly grateful.

[Q]MAC-spoofing/changing back to original
Hello.
Latest year I have been using AICP-rom for my phone and lately noticed that there is another device on the same network that has the exact same MAC-address, which will cause disconnecting. I have found my original MAC-address and tried tips at http://forum.cyanogenmod.org/topic/1...2/#entry504180, but they do not work for me. (seems like this is an issue for CM in general)
What can I do to set the MAC-address from 00:90:4C:C5:12:38 to my MAC-address that I found using an old build of CM??
Im sure that I could have used the internet and tested a lot of stuff, but I want something that I dont need to test, that will work instantly and not mess with my stuff. :D
All helpful responds are appreciated. :)

Weak (no bar) 3G signal after back from 2G
Anyone with Android 6.0 experience this issue?
So, when the phone enters an area with weak 3G signal, it will go to 2G (GPRS).
This is normal behavior.
Then, when the phone enters an area with strong 3G signal, it will go back to 3G.
This is also normal behavior.
Except, the restored 3G connection is weak. The icon shows with "no signal bar". It is connected to 3G though.
And it will stay like this until I recycle the connection by going to airplane mode and turn-off airplane mode.
My device is Nexus 6, international model. I installed Android 6.0 by flashing the image.
It is not rooted though and it doesn't have much apps.
And yes, I can reproduce this issue every time, as I know exactly the weak 3G area in our building.
Thanks.

Need to get my M7 back to stock
Hi There,
I sat down at midday today thinking this would take me half hour at most! Im still here now at 20:45
I wanted to put my m7 back to stock, it had gone slow and I have very little time nowdays to update custom roms and stuff and just wanted the ease of OTA updates.
Well the first thing I found out was I couldnt find a RUU for my CID H3G__001
I then tried to get s-off with rumrunner. Tried twice, no go
I downloaded a nandroid for this CID, installed it and then flashed what i think is the stock recovery for this CID and all seemed to go well. It downloaded and installed 2 minor updates OTA. Then it showed a major update, downloaded it, went to install and failed in the recovery. Giving this error:
assert failed: getprop( "ro.product.device") == "m7" | | getprop( "ro.build.product") == "m7"
I have tried lots of other stuff today also but i think this is the most relevant.

I dont need to make the phone look good to send it to htc for anything, I just want it getting OTA's so that the phone is low maintenance because I want to give it to someone else.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

help with getting at&t lg g3 back to factory settings
Before I'm blasted please read this and I'll try explain as best as possible why I am asking for help with a thread that already has been discussed. I rooted my phone and flashed the paranoid ROM and gapps. The link under the paranoid thread was no longer available so I found and downloaded the latest gapps and copied both the ROM and gapps zip to my SD card and then flashed the ROM and then the gapps as directed. Apparently the gapps didn't flash and in rebooted the phone and I'm sure you know what happens when this is done. I have a phone that works but I have no gapps. No SuperSU and no other apps for that matter. I've tried numerois methods to be able to get back into recovery (twrp) to restore my backed up files to no avail. Ive tried getting into download mode, no success, booting into recovery, no success, I've tried to unroot using flashtool DLL and tot but get the error message that lg USB port is blocked when I tried to install the flashtool. I was told to try using flashify which downloaded and installed it but got the message that I don't have root access and no SuperSU privileges and I can't get into recovery that way. Then I downloaded the SDK studio to try and get a cmd prompt but that studio is so big I don't know where to go to open command prompt. All I want to do now is wipe everything off of the phone and go back to the original factory settings. Is my phone a total loss or is there a waynout therlgdlashtool do that? I understand that I may have to find out why I'm getting that message when I try using lgflash tool. Once again, thank you for any input (even a little bashing!) and direction u can give me.

Call Back Option Like Stock Dialer
Hi guys,
Apologies ahead of time if this is not the current forum to post this thread under. Please let me know and I'll post accordingly.
I recently rooted and installed a new ROM on my SG5 - Blisspop ROM. Awesome ROM with more features than I know what to do with!
One minor problem I found is that when you hang up a call or get disconnected for whatever reason, there is no follow option that occurs like it does in the stock dialer app - message/call back/add to contacts. This can be a huge headache when dealing with work related conference calls as I would have to go back to the dialer and edit call before dialing + add the respective extension.
I was looking around for a dialer that does this but all I could find is links to auto-redial apps which is not what I am looking for - I was not sure what to even call it - "call back feature". Does anyone have any ideas? Maybe I am missing a setting but it does not seem like there is such an option.
Your help is greatly appreciated! Thank you :)

Not satisfied with CM 12 how to back to stock but keep root
Hi!
I sincerely didn't thought that there would be an official 5.1.1 rom. So there it is. In the meanwhile I switched to CM but the performance and specially of the camera is not to live with.
I officially unlocked the bootloader and installed twrp.
How can I install the stock rom 14.6.A.0.368 (5.1.1) and keep root. Or how can I get it back afterwards?
Thanks!!!

Looks like Motorola DID write the updates, but it's AT&T and VZW holding them back
http://www.wi-fi.org/product-finder-...,XT1097,XT1095
The updates went to the WiFi Alliance for certification. Maybe AT&T and VZW will stop dragging their feet and let us have it.

Pu Leather back cover case: any reviews?
Saw this case on honorbuy and it seems rather nice. Adds only 1mm to the thinckness, but the metal+leather look would upgrade the device quite a bit.
Does anyone have this one and could maybe share their experience? Handling, build quality, etc.
Thanks in advance.

Does V10 has a notification light on back?
Does the LG V10 has the notification light on its back like the LG G2 had on its back around the power button? I think front side we really don't need it. Since, it has the second screen which is always on.

Tempered glass back?
Hey guys,
I have a tempered glass front but I can't seem to find a tempered glass for the back. I like the feel of the glass a lot better than PET. Anyone know where I can find one?

changes to build.prop not saving, reverting back to stock build.prop every time
I've seen a few threads about this, but my problem is a little different. I can edit my build.prop and save the changes. however, when I save and exit the text editor and build.prop and go back in, the changes don't stick. I'm on 6.0 with beta superuser 2.51 and elemental 3.0 for what its. anybody have any ideas?
Going back from 6 to 5.1.1
I have used Google so please help out here. I want to flash back to the 5.1.1 radio and kernel because I used some mods that don't work on Android M 6.0
Does anyone have a link to get back? Android M doesn't really offer anything extra so losing stuff really wasn't worth it.
