S4 GTI9505 flashed recovery without root help

So I accidentally flashed the recovery package through Odin to a friend's s4 gt i9505 and i get a no access error in the recovery with an android and a red triangle. Since it has a custom recovery odin doesnt detect it. My question is what should i do ? . There is literally noone that has experienced the same (noob) mistake so there is no real fix. The phone is running 4.4.2 with an official upgrade to lollipop but KNOX was tripped so I would like to fix for him without having to pay for official service.
Thanks in advance.

Can't boot into ROM because of incorrect Xposed Framework flashed

So my boot is stuck at the Cyanogen logo. I believe this happened because I flashed an incorrect zip file of a previous Xposed version (74 instead of 75).

I need to push either the Xposed Uninstaller, or the correct v75 version, to the phone's sdcard storage without being able to boot.

My phone is a rooted OnePlus One, with the latest Sultan's Unofficial CyanogenMod and TWRP Custom Recovery installed.

Booting into Fastboot Mode, the cmd command [fastboot devices] gives me back my device ID, but [adb devices] does not.

The [adb push] command does not seem to be working; I keep getting the [error: device '(null)' not found] message.

I tried USB mounting using the MOUNT menu in TWRP, but I keep hearing the Windows sound for *device unplugged*, and my storage never appears to allow me to explore it (I'm on Windows 8.1).

Any idea what's going on? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Flashed Chainfire's modified boot.img, still no root?

I searched, but didn't want to hijack a thread...

I just flashed marshmallow from the factory images (full wipe) with TWRP and chainfire's boot.img (http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps...ellow-t3219344). Then I downloaded Chainfire's SuperSU 2.52 beta, and flashed it via TWRP. SuperSU is now installed but it doesn't look like root is working, even though SuperSU "grants" apps root access.

What did I do wrong?

Thanks

HELP!!!! i flashed the wrong kernel from Note EDGE

Hello guys i need anyone that has the answer of my problem.
I flashed a kernel (Linux 3.10.87-Emotion-TW-5.1.1-nightly-beta-r21.img) from the Note EDGE but i have a SM-N910F

A guy linked the wrong kernel in a other thread!!!!

I installed the image file with twrp.2.8.7.0 . i select "boot" and installed it.
now the Touchscreen is absolutly confused because the EDGE Display is biger than the Note 4 and it does not the same that i press with my finger.

Did anybody know what should i do?? Sorry for my bad english........im from Austria :)

Thanks for your help

flashed wrong ROM. Need advice.

Ok, this is only my second post here, so excuse me if I come off like a moron.
Got my sm-t530nu about six months ago. I got twrp on. Now, I am really foggy on how this went down, as I was on narcotic pain meds, preparatory to spinal surgery, Essentially, I recall causing some **** up that I had to use twrp to repair. But I believe I installed the wrong build firmware. I am on .....1AOA2 but I recall realizing that I had made an error.
So, here are my queries:
1) Is there a way to determine which build I should have, as stock?
2 ) I would like to get this right back to un rooted stock, with the proper original ROM, which I no longer have an image or backup of. And then play with root. I've already blown Knox marker....
( look, it was the drugs making me stupid.)
I regularly receive the error message telling me that "settings has stopped" (or something very similar. )
(Yes, I'm still on the narcotics, and I'm sticking with that as an explanation for my gappiness )
Anyway, any help would be met with extreme gratitude.
Thanx, guys (and girls, I guess...)
Kevin

Manually flashed 6.0 stock images, but only get dead android for recovery

I have searched around but cannot find a solution. I can't seem to get a working recovery after flashing stock images with and without TWRP 2.8.7.1.

I followed these steps to upgrade to Android 6.0 after verifying the md5 checksum of my download:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash bootloader bootloader-hammerhead....img [it looks the same as before, but I did it anyway]
reboot bootloader
fastboot flash radio radio-hammerhead....img
reboot bootloader
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img
....I have also tried with and without flashing cache
fastboot reboot
...then I go back into the bootloader and try to access recovery, but I only get the dead android with the red triangle.

Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone have a suggestion for a fix?
I'm having the same problem with my Nexus 7 (2013).

Flashed Marshmallow ..stuck on google screen

Hi,
So I flashed marshmallow onto my nexus9 and thought everything was fine. However after I booted it is stuck on the google screen. I thought I might be able to just reflash everything again but now I can't see my nexus 9 when I issue the command "adb devices". After re-reading one of the sites, I think I missed doing the following step: fastboot flash vendor vendor.img

Any help would be appreciated !

Thanks
