Minor issue after rooting Samsung Galaxy s5 ( sprint )

Ok so i rooted my s5 using odin 3.07, CF-Auto-Root-kltespr-kltespr-smg900p.tar.md5 and SM-G900p.knox_removal.android.5.0.zip
Its probably worth noting my phone is on lolipop from samsung.
After i used those via odin the phone rebooted as expected. However the first time it booted it would not work. It would get to the home screen after start up and system process would fail.
I rebooted into recovery and used the fix permissions and fix selinux option.
Now my phone works fine with 1 exception, i get an error that says google play services encountered an unknown error. Any idea what is causing this?

I also have installed twrp 2.8.7 ( i think that was the latest available ) this was done using the twrp app which initially said it failed but when i rebooted into recovery it was there.

Any help would be appreciated. Also is it normal for the rom to refuse to check for upgrades once rooted?

NO OS Installed - Sprint Note Edge

I tried some but it keeps getting stuck on the Samsung boot screen and doesn't load all the way. I tried wiping 3 times before I flash a ROM but it wont load still.. any help pls?

Sprint Rooted Galaxy S6 920P. MSL# Help

I am trying to use my phone as a wifi hotspot. I've tried calling sprint, the sprint store i purchased the phone from, and live chat attempting to get my MSL code. I've tried the terminal getprop ril.MSL rooted and non. .. nothing is working. The msl apps don't work. Does anyone know another way to get my msl, or a way to use root access to allow wifi hotspot without msl?

HTC M8 HK on sprint bootloop after fix permisions in TWRP

Hello all i have a M8 HK edition on lollipop from the us on sprint. ( i am in Europe)
I was trying to get sim unlock and i got as far as installing the TWRP on it after unlocking the boot-loader.
i was in the stage to install the super user zip with the help of TWRP but somehow i manage to hit the fix permission button in there.
I tried all the simple way out there wipe-ing all the caches / factory resetting but nothing no goo.
I want to put the original firmware on the phone but i really need some help to lock the boot-loader and to do that i need to S-OFF as i am S-ON now.
and if you can point the right firmware or recovery image for this phone it wold be fantastic.

Any info you need just ask and (tell we how to get it, if its complicated)

Noob Sprint Galaxy S3 Bricked? Newb!

So a buddy of mine offered to install some custom software in my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3(SPH-L710).

The phone will now boot to the splash screen and do nothing but stay stuck there. I would just like to get the phone back to normal but the phone was never backed up before this was attempted.

I'm in dire need of assistance to get the phone to perform how it did beforehand.

What do I need to download, install, anything, to get the phone working again....

Sprint S4 LPH-L720 Drops Data

The history of my S4 LPH-L720:

1. I bought this when it was first released in May of 2013.
2. I've been using custom roms for a solid 2 years and the issue just started within the last 6 months.

The problem:

1. Recently it's been dropping the data connection completely, which requires me to cycle airplane mode to get it back (cycling Data Connection does nothing).
2. This happens with LTE and EVDO connections, but if I force it to CDMA (1X) then I don't experience the data drops.
3. This is happening with multiple Sprint towers as well.

My questions for the community are:

1. If my phone is slowly dying then I'm considering another Sprint S4 (L720 not the L720T) on eBay, but I wanted to see if others with the original S4 are having similar issues with data connections, in case it's a Sprint specific thing.
I need the non-spark model because I can use voice and LTE data at the same time. This is very handy when I need to tether and still use my phone.
2. Are their any Sprint LTE bands that this phone is incompatible with that could be causing this issue?

Help with removing retail mode from Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport (Sprint)

Recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy S5 and noticed its in retail mode. I have been trying for hours trying to see if their is a way to remove it. tried reinstalling OS using odin but it just goes back to the same thing after reboot. Has anyone else fixed this issue and mind helping me go through the steps as to what to do to remove the retail mode.

I have also tried that whole retail mode app and putting in password 5444 and still didnt work. Hopefully someone can help me! TIA!

Nexus 5 + Marshmallow + Sprint = no LTE (+ no wifi, authenticates, but no ip)

Installed OTA Marshmallow as soon as it became available on my stock Nexus 5 with Sprint service. Now, two days later, I can't get an LTE signal, just 3G. Also, my device has been unable to obtain an IP address from WiFi - it seems to authenticate, but no ip is resolved.

Has anyone else seen any instability with Marshmallow? Is this just a Nexus 5 issue? Is this just a me issue?

Help sprint note 3 stuck in boot to recovery.

Hi i was trying to flash cwm but now when i boot my phone all i see is samsung galaxy note 3 and on the top left it says :

Recovery booting...
recovery is not seandroid enforcing
set warranty bit:recovery

It just keeps rebooting i took out the battery and it still does this! I cant get into download mode or anything please help.

Sprint note 4 rooted, completely screwed

Got my note back in November, rooted through odin in December. Everythings been grand and perfect.
Till I watched a video on youtube 2-3mnths ago about good rooted apps (wanted to get more daring other than xposed) loaded gsm gestures app? I think was the name. Kept it for a week, didnt use it. Uninstalled it, phone rebooted, instead of the normal "app uninstalled"
After that my phones been laggy, freezes, and freezes and turns off. Its factory wiped itself 8 times. I have countless posts on Reddit timelining everything. Long short is, tried liquid smooth to see if that would fix my problem, lost text messaging with that could only text for an hr a day, flashed stock sprint firmware and rerooted afterwards, have been slow to reload apps on phone, incase of factory reset or whatever. my phone is now taking 75+ batter pulls to get into a normal boot, every 15bat pulls it jumps into download mode "could not do normal boot ddi_mms read fail" and now an ssl text ive only seen once today, ill try and write that down if it happens again.

Finally when I get back into my phone, sometimes I have to update prl to get service again, the other day my phone lost signal and all my network settings were unselected, I had to select them all and my phone was fine, then I was on the phone and it cut me out in the middle of a call and said roaming lost or something, and I had to reapply cdma/lte on sprint.

Im beyond frustrated, im getting married in 2 weeks, and going out of country immediately after, so I need a working phone as most my business is conducted through it. I have no upgrade on sprint, and cant afford to throw out 400$ for a "new" note 4

[Q] Unlocked N6 from Amazon on Sprint, a no go?

I am trying to activate an N6 from Amazon on Sprint, and they are saying only Sprint devices can be activated. Maybe I didn't do enough homework before buying this, but is that correct? I was under the impression that unlocked phones could go anywhere*. Can someone confirm before I send my phone back to Amazon?

sprint XT1526 cm12.1 build 57, hotspot turn off automatically

it's a sprint xt1526. installed cm-12.1-20150929-UNOFFICIAL-surnia-57 + open_gapps-arm-5.1-mini-20151005. everything works fine and has LTE data but the hotspot shut down by itself while Im tethering (happened twice in about 40 mins) and I have to enable it back manually. can anyone please help?

Looking to fix Sprint 5.1 to update to ZV6 (error updating)

I am getting an error when trying to use OTA. I am rooted and used NextApp SDFix to help restore write access to microSD (using it for game and their respected saves and what not)
What would the best course of action for me to take? I don't think I care to have root anymore so any instruction to possibly flash back to stock (if possible to save data would be awesome) so I can update?

Or if I didn't want to go through any of this, could I just factory reset and that would allow me to update normally?? Thank you anyone for your help!!

Hello all, I is not been solved by reading the various posts.
Let me explain the situation;
I unlock my bootloader, flashing several custom, everything was fine.;)
I wanted to restore the default HTC One M7 so I relock the bootloader and try a flash RUU.
The more I got failure.:eek:
==> So I end up with a HTC One M7 "relocked" s-on and without OS or Recovery, only the Bootloader.
Could someone help me to get out of this problem please.
I try to unlock the bootloader again but each time I reboot with "entering recovery" but it never succeeds, the bootloader is still locked again

Hello, I have the Sprint HTC Desire 510 version. Im from Israel, And I've managed to get S-OFF and unlock the device with the Sunshine APK.
I Insert a local GSM sim, the device dosent seem to read it. Plus, I didnt activate the Sprint activate method. Will flashing a new rom will help to use the GSM sim? or theres some other method I should do inorder to make it work..?

Will the Sprint S5 work properly on ATT?

I have searched and not really getting a clear cut answer on this question. i have an option to buy a Sprint S5 cheap, but need to be able to use it on ATT.

I haven't been able to clearly find whether this is possible, and whether it should work to the full capabilities of the ATT network.

Any help wold be appreciated before i go and purchase this phone.
