Amazon register?

Does anyone here know if amazons register works on our phones? I know its not an immediately supported device but I have heard it working beyond that list with other phones and not working with others... Your help is greatly appreciated

Adventure time Card Wars save game problem amazon vs playstore apk

Hi there,

i have a problem. I bought Cars Wars on Amazon app store, because it was cheaper than play store...
but now on play store there is a new Version, and on Amazon there ist still the old version.

I use the helium app to extract the save game from the amazon version and want to restore it in play store version.
But with no succes... ;(
The saves are not compatible with the normal play store version.
So now im here ;)
Can anyone help me? I dont know where to ask, so there i am.

I write to the support, and the say they have transfared my saves to a new account, but that doesnt work. I think amazon does not synch the save games with the original server?

In-App Purchase in Amazon Appstore no longer works

After reinstalling my ROM and reinstalling Greenify from the Amazon Appstore, the donation features no longer work. When I click the donate button, it tells me that the Amazon Appstore is not installed.

[FTV2] Can anybody find the Amazon source for build 521044920?

They've only posted build 531006320. I fuzzed the link a tiny bit and checked for a hundred so filenames to see if they were lurking in the system but didn't have any luck.

In the meantime I'm getting LMY47O from Google to have a look.

Adb Shell Pm Hide as much bloat and amazon as you can

I wanted to find out how much of Amazon can be stripped out from the Fire 7 without having root access. Bearing in mind that my Fire 7 is currently connected via OTG Ethernet and I have not joined Amazon and associated my device. Basically a standalone device only with OTA Update disabled via ADB Shell. Considering we do not have root yet available we are limited in options and please bear in mind that this example is for my own personal preference.

I now have a Fire 7 with the Amazon footprint removed as much as possible with the exception of services that cannot safely be hidden and the dreaded Fire Launcher. Everything else I have hidden via ADB Shell. Please see first screenshot of my stripped down Fire 7. Key essential services/programs for me such as Google Play, Google Calendar, Fire 7 Settings all work smoothly after I removed the others.

I do not need the following on the Fire 7 as I will either install my own program from Google Play or remove the service completely. The following have been hidden [Amazon Email client, Calender, Camera, Help Files, Silk Browser, Amazon Video, Amazon Music, Amazon WEather etc]

In the XDA Develpers Fire HD 6 & & Forum I came across a list of safe com.amazon processes that can be stopped on the Fire HD6 & 7 tablet. So I thought I would give them a go plus a few of my own attempts as well.

I then proceeded to highlight specific services such as the Calendar, Email Client and other associated Amazon services that I do not require. I used XDA Developers and Google as a reference as to what is actually safe to hide, made a note of the actual system process name and then hid them via ADB Shell and went from there.

Amazon Fire TV - flickering screen

I have my new (Oct 2015) Fire TV plugged directly into my television and the screen is constantly flickering/flashing white and sometimes cuts out altogether for a brief second. Clicking something on the remote stops the flickering for about 5-10s before it starts up again.

I've tried replacing the HDMI cable and adjusting the video resolution but the issue continues. I contacted Amazon and they very nicely sent me a new device, but I'm getting the exact same behavior with the new one.

I've used other media players with the HDMI port on my TV and haven't had any issues at all. Is there something different about the output of the FireTV that my TV just doesn't like?

Any ideas?

[Q] Unlocked N6 from Amazon on Sprint, a no go?

I am trying to activate an N6 from Amazon on Sprint, and they are saying only Sprint devices can be activated. Maybe I didn't do enough homework before buying this, but is that correct? I was under the impression that unlocked phones could go anywhere*. Can someone confirm before I send my phone back to Amazon?

Can I use this method to turn on 24hz on the new Amazon Fire TV? I only have the gaming controller, and I can't figure out what to substitute for the select button, or it just does not work on factory firmware...

I was able to sync my remote from my fire TV STICK and the combo does not bring up a hidden resolution menu, sometimes it initiates a factory reset countdown.

Are Amazon reviews for real?

Periodically looking at Amazon reviews, which are raving for the most part. Best watch ever created, no problems etc. Given all the problems being bought up here, I have to wonder, are these reviews for real? I had the same experience with some IP security cameras I bought.. all these rave reviews about how great they were, easy to install and set up... No one mentioning the complications and issues of port forwarding needed to access cameras remotely. They were not even close to being easy to set up, even the tech support had trouble getting them set up via remote access. (I actually ended up figuring it out myself after they gave up and said the advanced tech support would call me.) That experience left me wondering if these review are actually legit... :confused:
