Looking for slim and not slippery case

Hi all.. As the title says, I'm looking for a slim case, or bumber, or another thing which has a good grip. I bought a samsung official case along my phone but I did find it too slippery. Moreover, after only a few months (6/7) back was quite damaged ... So, it's time to change..I eagerly look forward your advice ...:cool:

Hi looking for Schematic on Touch Panel Connector to troubleshoot hardware issue

If anyone has a schematic or better yet troubleshooting/service manual for XT875 would be greatly appreciated. My touch screen isn't working even after replacement and I think it has something to do with motherboard connection and need to check voltages/pin assignments. Any help very appreciated...I have had this phone for 4 years and hope to have it for another 4...

I am looking at getting the S6 edge.

I have been a die hard fan of HTC phones since the droid incredible. Figure its time to try something new. My M7 tried to pop the screen out as I guess the battery bulged. I am wondering if its a good phone and if touchwiz worked out its lag issues I seen in the past. Need a camera that works good as my M7 had that purple haze issue. More so I need to know if foxfi still works on this phone as I have seen many phones stop working. If not will have to look in to root and hope I get a phone not on the latest upgrade so I can root with that one touch root. I need tethering as where I live we have no internet access.

So its this phone or the Google nexus 6 for Verizon and planning to pick up one tomorrow. So any insight is welcomed.

Looking a mid-end phone/phablet

Hi, recently my smartphone stop working and I'm looking for a mid-end smartphone.

Budget: ~300€.
Screen Size: 5" - 6"

Typical use: I'll use the phone basically to productivity, like email, messaging, read the news, web browsing, etc... I don't play a lot, but the games doesn't require a powerful device. I also watch videos, mostly at night. Also good speakers and upgradable to Marshmallow. I got stuck at Jelly Bean and I want to try new features. If possible I want to root the phone.

Looking for Testers with the T817 model to test new root hack.

Looking for testers with the T817 model (no ATT or Veizon models) to test a new hack to get root on Samsung stock SElinux Enforcing kernels running Android 5.11 or Android 6.0.
This means the kernel will be stock, so LTE will be unaffected.

Basically what this is about:

Chainfire has released new beta's of Supersu, the latest is 2.52. This new release can root Samsung 5.1.1 roms and Android 6.0 Marshmallow roms.
However to accomplish this a patch needs to be applied to the kernel Ramdisk to allow root with stock kernels.

I need someone willing to test the patched Ramdisk and kernel on their device which has 5.1.1 installed.

The procedure is fairly simple all that is required is to flash the new boot.img with Odin, then root with Supersu v2.52.

Looking For App That Cleans Entire Device (Rooted)

I am curious to see what others are using to clean junk files, cache, dalvik, etc on their rooted devices (best rooted cleaning app) because I feel like alot of the apps out there are BS...for instance one particular app I used to use (I won't name it out of respect for the dev) showed the exact amount of junk files, etc. every time I ran it...I'm no developer but I'm damn sure my phone doesn't accumulate the exact amount of MB of cache/junk files every single time I run the cleaner regardless of use or how frequent I ran the cleaner...

Themes for SMS/text messaging? looking for an older stock android theme

I am a big fan of all dark theme, I desktop is entirely black, all the buttons are hidden, and the only thing I miss about my Samsung galaxy S3, was the stock SMS/text messenger that came with android 4.2, and I think android 4.3.

I've included an couple of example here. What is the closest theme that I can get to match this theme?

I really can't stand the multicolored lollipop cutesy wusty pink popcorn dancing hippo, Disney happy squirrel themes. I prefer a more commando approach.

Looking for a smartwatch that works as music player (via bluetooth)

Hello to everybody,
I'm looking for a smartwatch that could be paired with a couple of bluetooth earphones, acting as music player and that could works without a phone.
I found a lot of cheap device that has a TF (microsd) slot and that could be paired with bluetooth earphones, and this is good.

But I would like to have also Radio FM and I was unable to find a device that could work with bluetooth earphones because all the devices I found with radio FM needs to have earphones jack inserted because they act as antenna.

So I started looking for a device that could run app without a phone, something like "tune in radio", that streams music via data connection, but I'm not sure if someone has already developed something similar, I've seen that Samsung has created the Gear S that has a 3G and wifi connection but I'm not sure of what are its capabilities, if it could work alone (without a phone) for the task I need.

Does anybody knows if there's something that could fit my needs? (or mp3 stand alone with radio FM via bluetooth or mp3 with undependent streaming radio app)

Looking for a stock ringtone "Crazy for your love"

Someone has a ringtone on his S6 Edge with the lyrics: "Crazy for your love". He says that's a stock ringtone, but I managed to find some .zips with all the stock S6/Edge ringtones and didn't find that song... Anyone could help/knows what I am talking about? :)

Looking for an Android headunit but last one wouldn't see hotspot.

I have a Samsung Note 4 and I want to use it as the hotspot for the headunit. The last one I tried (YINUO® Quad Core 1024*600 Android 4.4.4 7 inch Universal Car DVD Player) would see WiFi but not the WiFi from my phone. Anyone have any experience with this or could recommend a good headunit? Please and thank you!

Oh I don't need it to have a DVD but I would like it to either have a volume knob or vol + and vol - buttons.

Been out of the game for a while. Looking to update the Nook. Best recovery+Best ROM?

I lost my Nook Tablet for a while and just recently found it again. I'd like to update the recovery tool and put a new ROM on it so I'm looking for suggestions.

I had previously rooted it and installed ClockWorkMod and then it is running some version of an Android ROM. I'm looking to update the ROM to something newer so I can make use of new apps etc. Also I know newer ROMs need newer recovery tools to install. Is CWM still the go to for that?

New app. Looking for testers

I been working on a new app. Orv Trail Maps. There is a version of it on the play store which just has a list of trails and links to the maps. This version I want testers for adds the ability to read and write reviews about the trails. Orv maps in Michigan are the only ones currently available. I would like to eventually get more maps for more states down the line. Any advice on how I can improve the app would be greatly appreciated.

Only issue I've noticed is when opening the app for the first time it take a lil bit to load. Not really sure what is going on there.

Tasker was one of the main reasons i moved from the iphone to android based phones, but recently i am plagued by the Verizon unrootable curse.
With the newer phones, you cannot root a verizon phone, and i have a S6 Edge Plus.

Its getting extremely hard for me as i was so much dependant on various tasker profiles.
Currently i run the extremely unreliable AutomateIT app, hardly it ever works.

Plus the kind of profiles i had in tasker i guess automateit cannot perform.

Hence I am looking for an alternative. Well, i realize there is no alternative to the master race tasker, but i am completely fine if i could find one of apps for various tasker profles. There are a few profiles i was wondering if they have an app for that.

1. No lock screen password for wifi or bluetooth.
2. Reduce media and ringer volume and disable notifications volume for night mode.
3. Change wallpaper on geolocations.
4. Mute volume in office when connected through wifi

Are there one off apps for these?

Looking to fix Sprint 5.1 to update to ZV6 (error updating)

I am getting an error when trying to use OTA. I am rooted and used NextApp SDFix to help restore write access to microSD (using it for game and their respected saves and what not)
What would the best course of action for me to take? I don't think I care to have root anymore so any instruction to possibly flash back to stock (if possible to save data would be awesome) so I can update?

Or if I didn't want to go through any of this, could I just factory reset and that would allow me to update normally?? Thank you anyone for your help!!

Looking at Buying G Flex 2 is there still Lag?

Hey guys I'm looking at buying a G Flex 2 and just wondering if there are still Massive Lags and Homescreen Re-Draws? As a lot of reviews say that this was a problem and I'm a bit off put by that as I'd like it to be a smooth device.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated :)
