How i fixed the bootloop on my watch

This is going to be a somewhat long thread (fair warning) because i'm going to try and give as much detail as possible. So here we go...
Disclaimer, I am not responsible for any damage to your watch if you decide to follow my method.....it worked for me
Also be advised I used this method to allow my watch to finish the boot cycle because the watch was freezing because of being on the cradle for too long and the battery getting super hot, if your watch is doing something else, this probably won't work for you.

It all started when I factory reset my watch at 15% thinking it had plenty of battery to finish the process (I know its been said many times on this thread about having 65+% battery when doing anything to your watch...I suggest you follow that rule or even just charge to 100% to make sure). So during the initial boot cycle the watch shut off. When I get home I put it on the cradle and I saw a black screen with a battery and a charging symbol on it. After that it showed the LG logo...then began the boot animation with the colored balls. After about 5-10 seconds the watch froze and turned off again. I tried everything I possibly could, keeping it on the cradle...taking it off...booting into fastboot...letting it charge.....boot into recovery....letting it charge....flashing TWRP...letting it charge....nothing would work. It ALWAYS froze and shut off. Sometimes it was during the boot cycle, sometimes inside the fastboot screen, and sometimes in recovery. I reflashed the boot/system/and even recovery images....tried different roms....nothing seemed to work.

Now here's the good news...I was able to get it to finish the boot cycle, get to the screen that said "Android starting apps" and to another screen that allowed me to actually charge the watch to 20%....and here is what I think is happening.....The cradle and/or USB connection is giving the watch enough power to turn on and keep it on...but there isn't any voltage control so its making the battery more hot than it should....thus over heating the CPU/chipboard and freezing the watch (I say this because after the watch would freeze I would have to wait a long period of time..sometimes 30 minutes...sometimes hours...before it would show me the black screen with the charging symbol again). So I asked myself...how can I keep the watch cold enough so that it doesn't overheat yet still give it enough power to finish the boot cycle? Well I ended up grabbing my icepack (it's a clay icepack with a blue cloth around it so it wasn't making direct contact to the ice pack and there was no moisture) and I ended up placing the watch on the cradle connected to the wall charger so it had enough power to turn on, see the LG Logo and I swipped from 11->5 and went into the fastboot screen. I then let it charge up for about 30 seconds, took it off the cradle and hit "start" for it to boot normally. Then I put it on the icepack for about 15 seconds (I put the bottom of the watch where the chip board is against the ice pack).....then took it off, and placed it on the cradle for 15 seconds, I repeated this over and over it allowed the battery to maintain a decent temperature and allowed the battery to charge enough to keep it on and get to the next screen that told me to charge the battery to atleast 20%. Once it got to 20% it told me to swipe to the right and it started the pairing process, once it paired and it started syncing the apps from the phone to the watch...it actually froze again because I left it on the cradle. Once I let the watch cool off I did the process over again and this time kept switching between the ice pack and the cradle until AFTER it finished syncing and I actually saw the analog watch on the screen. After that I was able to put it back on the cradle and it charged to 100% with no issues and my watch has been working perfect ever since, and I've already charged it multiple times.

I hope this helps someone else....I had my watch not working for just over and week and everyday I would try something else and this is what FINALLY fixed it. I even went as far as buying another BL-S3 battery and was going to replace it. Good luck, if anyone has any questions i'd be happy to try and answer them.

Good Luck!

[Q] Pull data from internal when bootloop (LG L5 II Dual)

Hey guys, maybe anyone can help me with this situation,

I've a female friend with her LG L5 II Dual (E455) suddenly her phone got stuck in a bootloop and she want to recover most of her data from internal storage. The thing is the data which is she want recover is contacts and WhatsApp conversation also some of documents. About the contacts, she didn't activate the Sync for Google Account caused the phone get lag or something (you know..).

So to the point, is there anyway I can pull the data from internal storage before flashing the firmware..?

I've known about recovery bootloader, but after reading some thread in this sub-forum, as I know the button combination will enter the recovery state and recover immidiately without any options given, am I right..? CMIIW

Any additional information you need, just let me know..

Sorry if my English is not good.

G4 Bootloop

Hi Guys,

i am really confused and a little bit angry. The Following happened to me today:

My Phone (Unrooted, Locked BL) was behaving weird this morning.
It just randomly crashed and wouldn't boot up.

Eventually i got it to boot once or twice, but still it crashed, shut down and Bootloop.

A Reqular Factory Reset did nothing. now i'm trying to install the Regular KDZ-File for the H815, but things are just not working as expected.

Has anyone else had this problem before?
Is it normal that the LG Flash Tool is on 1% for over 5 Minutes and nothing changes on the Phone screen?

I want to know what has broken my phone so bad, cause this time, I just used it the way it was supposed to be used, no hard drops, no rooting, no changing of software in any means.

First LG Phone and it broke with no warning and no explenation. I'm a little disappointed right now.

Any help?

OTA Android 6.0 Bootloop

Hey there guys!

So I just recently downloaded and installed the OTA android 6.0 update and now my Nexus 9 does nothing but loop on the google boot animation. I have wiped the cache and have done a factory reset, but because my boot loader is still locked I can't think of any other options.

Any Ideas?

Galaxy Nexus Bootloop

Okay, so after I helped many people with their Galaxy Nexus problems, is my time to ask for help.

Yesterday while I was browsing the internet on my phone, it suddenly just stopped and started too bootloop. I thought it was just because I installed Xposed Framework couple of minutes ago(like 40-50). I tried to factory reset from recovery but didn't work. I just put the phone down and went for a sleep. Today when I woke up I tried to install the Google Factory Images 4.3 takju for maguro. The weird thing is that the phone noew boots until the X logo but then just restarts after flashing white for one milisecond. I tried to repeat the process using Nexus Root Toolkit but no succes either. I noticed that once the phone managed to boot up until the PIN code request screen and then it did the same thing. I'm out of ideas now, and if I can get any help I would be greatful.

PM: I was running Shiny ROM 4.4.4 at the time when this happened with the latest franco.Kernel.:)

Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WA0nbmPXE7w thsi is the exact same issue that I am having except I don't get to browse the phone, it just restarts during the X logo boot

Tmobile s6 edge bootloop after using odin/samsung smart switch

Please help. I have SM-G925T. I have used odin 3.10.7 to flash latest stock firmware. After it says success the phone reboots saying installing system updates then immediately says erasing.. then during boot it gets stuck on logo screen and repeatedly flashes. then when entering into stock recovery a no command android symbol displays. I wipe cache and perform a factory reset and reboot system and same bootloop continues. I also went to samsung smart switch and used the emergency recovery mode and once it completes it restarts phone automatically and still bootloop. I am using the latest OI1 firmware update on the device. I have tried wipe cache partition and factory reset numerous times, I have also flashed bootloader and modem files through odin which pass but still bootloops. I have tried the update before the OI1 which was OH6 and it fails saying check failed on the phones download screen. Only the OI1 passes successfully due to the SWREV is now showing B:3 K:2 S:2 & before I updated to the OI1 it used to say B:2 K:2 S:2. I have tried flashing custom kernel and the latest TWRP it then says kernel is not seandroid enforcing and in Twrp I have preformed wipe and factory reset.. with no luck on getting passed the bootloop. So I reflashed everything OI1 again through odin & preformed the wipe cache partition & factory reset again but still stuck. I have tried safe mode but I cannot boot into safe mode and I have been seeing posts explaining to upload a PIT file but when flashing I have no error when it comes to Get pit mapping so I don't believe that would be needed and I have tried flashing the files I mentioned earlier individually and no go so please if there is anyone that can help me I'd greatly appreciate it. I did not tick anything that I wasn't suppose to in Odin so I'm not understanding after being on the latest version of everything that my phone is still not booting.

4th day on bootloop. Use 2 min and help me!

So it's my 4th day on bootloop and i still can't figure out how to turn my phone on again.

I know how to push files to TWRP. I have Odin ready. I have 2-3 different stock ROM available.

Flashing stock rom doesn't help - even if i put Nand erase all.
Kies or Smart Switch doesn't help me neither.

Tell me what to do - please.

Bootloader, modem, rom, kernel, put files to TWRP or?
Just 2 minute of your time would be greatly appreciated. Please!

Help! G3 keeps restarting but not a bootloop...

Hey everyone I have a rooted Verizon G3 software 22b and recovery. I plugged my phone into my laptop to pull a few photos off of it and ever since then my phone will boot up and as soon as it connects to any source of Internet it immediately restarts and will continue doing that till the battery runs out.

I pulled the Sim card out, disconnected it from my WiFi and it will stay running fine. As soon as I insert my Sim card, connect to any WiFi, a Hotspot or even a Bluetooth tether the phone immediately begins restarting again. I have a backup I made but it's from last December and I'd like to try and fix this if I can.

The other thing I was wondering is if I make a backup of just my current data file, restore to my old complete backup then restore my new data file will that help me retain all my app data etc?

You guys have saved me before when I stupidly took the Ota update after rooting and got stuck in a bootloop. I'm hoping you guys can save me again.

Bootloop after OTA Update

I have an ASUS ZenFone 2 (550 model), and I got a Push Notification about an OS Update, so I went ahead and installed it. After the phone installed the Update and rebooted, I got in a Bootloop. I can get into the Bootloader, the Stock Recovery, and the Temporary ClockworkMod Recovery mentioned here:

Code:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/general/root-newbie-root-instructions-zenfone-2-t3114063

ADB also works, thankfully.
My phone is rooted, and I'd like to unlock my Bootloader, and install CyanogenMod, after I get out of this Bootloop.
Could someone please help? :(
EDIT:
Silly me, I forgot to mention the problems I actually had while trying t solve the bootloop.
So,
Problem #1: If I try to flash Firmware, the stock Recovery stops at 25% (It continues going until 50% in ADB), and then i get this error:
"E: failed to verify whole-file signature
E: signature vertification failed"
Problem #2: CWM cannot use my MicroSD. If I go to "Install zip from sd card", it doesn't show the actual SD card, jus three empty folders. I tried to mount "ext-sd" in the mounting options, but it fails to mount. (My MicroSD is 32GBs and formatted in Fat32, so it should work. :/ )

Completely Stock Nexus 5 Bootloop

My completely stock Nexus 5 has been stuck on a bootloop for 45 minutes. I've had this phone for 11 months from new.

My phone had the flashlight bug - I had the torch on, the phone went to lockscreen and the torch turned itself off, then it wouldn't connect to the camera. I restarted my phone and it has been stuck on the rotating Google coloured ball boot animation for 45 minutes.

The phone is completely stock, running the latest official version of Lollipop. It isn't rooted.

Holding the power button for 5 seconds reboots it to the GOOGLE screen then the boot animation.

Holding down the power + volume down button gets me to a screen with the following options: START | RESTART BOOTLOADER | RECOVERY MODE | POWER OFF

Choosing recovery mode just shows 'No Command'

I have tried fiddling with and hitting the power button (as suggested from Google searches) and this has not fixed the problem. Charging the phone, having it plugged in, having it not plugged all do not fix the issue.

What can I do?
