Network Problem (Galaxy s6 Edge G925F)

Hello Everyone,

I have encountered a problem with my samsung galaxy s6 edge, i bought this phone from ebay, and i am using this phone in sweden with my halebop(telia) network. Problem is when i am in coverage area of 4G my phone will show the signal and will be have full coverage and everything works perfectly, but when i am in area where there is only 3g, my 3g works but there is no coverage on my phone, i tried to do it manually assiging the network in 2g/3g auto mode it says network registered but still no network on my phone. Before buying i even checked the history of the phone, it was not black listed and not stolen nothing. Moreover if i use my sim of Pakistan or sim of Dubai it works perfectly even shifts to network (if i chose 2G/3G auto or 2G only ) it works fine but don't work with my sim.

Can anyone please guide me because i am searching it internet but couldn't find anything. I also order new unlock code and even after inserting the code phone says unlock successful but still problem of the coverage.

S6 edge or edge +?

Just wondering is it worth the extra dough to get the edge plus or just get the edge? In the market for a new phone and I am stuck on the two and the nexus 6 is catching my eye as I need to tether and I do have foxfi but more and more phones are not working on it. Please give me some info to help me choose. I was a die hard HTC fan but the past few phones has left a kinda sour taste in my mouth and need something new.

Removed unused tiles in system panel and items in the settings, smartstay, motions and gesture, pattern shortcut and others, because these functions are not supported in the kernel, or are not needed (I find them uncomfortable and I do not understand why we need air gestures, etc.)
Removed Float panel, added call recents apps menu by the long press on the Menu button.

NOTE:
Kernel with GPU OC 476 Mhz (working not to all). If you have not overclocked the GPU, You can change it to a standard frequency of the GPU in the script kernel_settings in systems/etc/init.d (open in RootExplorer kernel_settings in a text editor)
In kernel included intelli_plug, sweep2wake/Sweep2Sleep, doubletap2wake
To enable/disable functions used script kernel_settings in systems/etc/init.d
This script will save the settings after a reboot, no need to use third-party programs
Kernel have min CPU freq 260 Mhz (If you have problems with the kernel at this frequency, you can flash the kernel with the default CPU frequencies drive.google)

NO OS Installed - Sprint Note Edge

Hey Guys,

I just got this Note Edge for Sprint and I have twrp installed but no OS. I know how to adb push a rom, but

Can someone direct me to a working ROM for the Sprint Note Edge?

I tried some but it keeps getting stuck on the Samsung boot screen and doesn't load all the way. I tried wiping 3 times before I flash a ROM but it wont load still.. any help pls?

Edge app update?

The other day there was a notification from the Galaxy Apps app about an update for Edge, which I installed without really thinking about it too much. Any idea what changes, if any, the update brought about? I don't see anywhere in the Galaxy Apps app a way to look at installed updates.

Problem in display s6 edge plus ....

I buy a s6 edge plus 3 week's ago ...

and 4 day's ago ... i see some black stains ... but big black stains ... .

i think that was the protector ... but i pull out ... and see the same black big stains ...

like you can see in the photo the black stains are in the left and right sides of the phone ... and up and down ... i use paint to you cant see better

but i only see that lines when i'm in the street ... with sun ... in my house normaly i don't see it ...

a phone that cust me 700 euros ... i think can't have that problem ... i call my operator and they send it to the garantie ... but what you guys think may be???

the phone don't drup much times ... i have the protecter of the screen and the case ... never have a big drup ... and only in house ...

S6 edge + possibly bricked

Friend was messing with her S6 edge + and i was attempting to fix it for her. its getting keanel is not seandroid enforcing and custom binary blocked by fap lock. I can get into download mode but that is about it. Anything to get the phone working so its not a complete waste will work.

Selecting Apps On Edge Panels Not Working

I've had my Note Edge for a few weeks and have throughly enjoyed it - until today.

I went to select an app from one of the Edeg panels and nothing - did not open anything. Tried all panels and this was the same.

I turned it off then on. Still not working.

I cleared the cache. Still not working.

Did a search on this issue and couldn't find anything.

I am looking at getting the S6 edge.

I have been a die hard fan of HTC phones since the droid incredible. Figure its time to try something new. My M7 tried to pop the screen out as I guess the battery bulged. I am wondering if its a good phone and if touchwiz worked out its lag issues I seen in the past. Need a camera that works good as my M7 had that purple haze issue. More so I need to know if foxfi still works on this phone as I have seen many phones stop working. If not will have to look in to root and hope I get a phone not on the latest upgrade so I can root with that one touch root. I need tethering as where I live we have no internet access.

So its this phone or the Google nexus 6 for Verizon and planning to pick up one tomorrow. So any insight is welcomed.

S6 Edge Brightness

So the Galaxy S6 Edge can get up to 600 nits of brightness on auto mode but only around 300 on manual mode. I would like to know if there is any way to get the manual mode to get that high and yes I know it would not be good for my battery. Thanks in advance for your help.

My s6 edge is locked by re activeation lock

I enabled reactivate lock and i forget password and make rest it want the Samsung account to open
But i forget the password
Any way to open it?

Noob2TheExtreme Note Edge SM-N915W8 has no operating system

So earlier today I had some time on my hands and decided to try and root my Rogers Note Edge phone. I failed miserably and now my phone does not seem to have an operating system and continuously restarts. I tried to restore it back to its factory settings, via Odin and Factory but with no success. Can anyone help me?

Does the S6 Edge plus have EU Region lock?

Hello,

I want to purchase the S6 Edge Plus, and I found it on eBay Italy for a very good price, and I was wondering if the S6 Edge Plus series has the EU regional lock as in the past in other EDGE series, as I am going to use non EU sim.

I remember I bought the NOTE EDGE last year in Spain, and it had that sticker on the box "European model , this product is only compatible with EU sim".
now the EDGE PLUS seller claims that the device is SIM FREE (worldwide), but I have some doubts as I know Samsung has this region locks, can any European friends advise if their device was locked to European sim, and if the box had that sticker as well? or Samsung stopped this procedure ?

The boot animation has 4 files you need to change:
located in system/media:

shutdown.qmg
poweron.ogg (depends on boot animation)

Poweron & off ogg should be renamed in (so they don't play on boot or you replace them):
system/media/ui/audio
system/media/ui/audio/BST
system/media/ui/audio/SPR
system/media/ui/audio/VMU
system/media/ui/audio/XAS

Got a T-Mobile S6 Edge+ that will not recover (NEED HELP)

A jackass I do unlocks for with Z3X tried to pre-root the phone and it got stuck in bootloop and I tried to recover it but with each Tar I use it fails each time. Does anyone have a fix ?
