Bootloop after modifying framework-res

Well as the title says, I modified framework-res.apk to change navbar dpi (using apktool and copying original META-INF folder and Manifest in my compiled apk). The problem is that when I push the framework to the N5, it wont boot
Could you give me some advice?
Thanksss

[NEED HELP] [KEYBOARD] need help modifying Stock Samsung Keyboard

Hi everyone! It's good to be back. I just switched from an iPhone 6 to a Galaxy S6 (G920F) few days ago but I am not new with rooting and other things in android. I just have some questions and I need help.

1. How can I make the stock samsung keyboard to always show uppercase keys (like the one in the iPhone). I do not like using 3rd party keyboards. I want the stock samsung keyboard to NOT display lowercase keys. I WANT IT TO PERMANENTLY DISPLAY UPPERCASE KEYS.

2. How can I remove the number row on the top of the stock samsung keyboard? Like the one in the S3 that does not have a number row at the top. I prefer not having the number row.

Your help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Modifying stock kernel

Good afternoon. I appoligise for the noob question but is there a way I can edit (I want to add overclock to a kernel) an already made (compiled?) kernel instead of having to completly build the kernel from source? For example, is there a way I can unpack a boot.img and modify the kernel, repack the boot image, and flash it instead of (in my case) going to Sony Developer World and compiling an AOSP kernel from source, I can just modify the frequencies of the CPU in the kernel the phone is currently running and reflash it? Sorry for the complicated and stupid question, i'm very new to kernel modifying... Thanks for any responses and/or help. ^^
