I have replaced the screen, LCD and frame on my VS980 due to dead sections of the screen. There were no problems swapping everything over to the new frame. The phone seemed to be working perfectly until I went into a dark room. When I am in a room with little to no light knock on does not work and if I press the power button the screen times out while I am swiping the home screen. Which component will cause this problem? I double checked each piece before reassembly and everything appeared to be properly installed.

Compiling a ROM - Replacing Kernel drivers
How do you compile a ROM for a device (in this case the Tab S)?
Do Samsung provide a development kit to developers to allow you to build a ROM?
If yes, do Samsung update those kits, say with newer drivers for their hardware?

Replacing ZP999 TOUCH SCREEN
HI,
Due to the fact my touch screen is a total waste , i ordered a new one.
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/100-o...74_75,201560_1
But i have a question :
Yesterday i managed to open and succesfully take apart the touchscreen.
But when i compare the new one i ordered and the original one i notice there are some stickers on the original and not on the new one.
Do i have to replace them all to the new screen or is it not necessary and can i just lay-in the new screen just by that ?
(ps : with the order do come some other adhesive 3M stickers to put around the edge of the basefront so the new screen will stick on it but these are not the stickers i am talking about)
can someone clear this out ?
Thanks!
PS : when i receive my new screen i will make a simple photo-guide to replace it.

No signal/network after replacing screen assembly
Hi all,
After replacing the screen from a Z3 the network signal disappeared.
I replaced the screen together with the front housing assembly (mostly that is the easiest thing today, except for the xperia line I guess, it was prolly easier to replace only the digitizer).
The blue ARF cable snapped at the end, so I had to solder it to be able to attach it again. It was guiding a current signal so the cable was fine after fixing it.
Any ideas what provides a signal/network to this phone? Or should I just order a blue ARF cable.
Thanks,
Niek
