type password to decrypt storage Xperia M

My phone has got locked by itself and is showing 'type password to decrypt storage'.
I can't move further than this...
What all i tried and failed at:
1) Repair using Sony PC Companion. But after getting started some error pops up saying retry. And this happened with the Authorised Sony Service Care personnel too. So I brought it back to home.
2) tried flashing using Sony Flash Tool. But right now my device is connected in MTP mode. And flashtool is urging me to switch ON usb debugging so as to flash the device.

Problem: As the device is locked now. I can't switch ON usb debugging.
Kindly help.

[Problem] Note 5 doesn't want to connect to any type of N network...

Hi,

For some reason my Note5 won't connect to *any* N network. 2.4 Ghz or 5 Ghz doesn't seem to make a difference nor open or encryption, simply won't connect.

The following was in logcat. Not sure what status_code=18, a google around didn't reveal anything. Tried various kernels without success. Galaxy S6, Macbook connect just fine. You can force your router into N only mode to test.

How to force LTE/CDMA auto (PRL) or any other Preferred Network Type.

Hi all,

I am using miui 6.7.2 version, and I am trying to change my prefered network type to "LTE/CDMA auto (prl)" in *#*#4636#*#*, but it keeps revert back to "TD-SCDMA, GSM/WCDMA and LTE", can anyone help me?

USB type C to type A cable...

If I go with, lets say the OnePlus Type C cord, will I still get the faster data transfer speeds/fast charging as if I were using a straight USB type C cable? It seems as if you use a cable that isn't type C on both ends that you wouldn't be able to take advantage of the faster data transfer speeds. I would assume this also applies to the fast charging but I'm not sure...
