N910C battery drain

Hi guys,

On my n910c the battery drains over night from 100% to 62%, I looked at the wakelocks and they seem fine to me...please take a look and tell me should I get a new battery or is it a software issue?

I'm on TeamEOS cm12.1 20151015 build for the exynos version, the phone is 7 months old

Tnx :)

Lg g4 battery drain. Bloatware removal

Hi guys i have seen an app designed for samsung device that removes or disables bloatware. Samsung users have benefited alot from disabling bloatware. Most users got atleast 2 or 3 hours more SOT. How can i remove bloatware on LG G4? My battery drains like crazy even on battery saving on from 100%

Massive battery drain connected to Gear S2

I'm losing 3-5% an hour at idle since getting my watch on Friday. Before that it was less than 1% per hour. I'm down to 13% with under 10 hours on battery and less than 2 hours of screen on time. Only difference is the watch.

At this point, I'm planning on giving the watch one more day and if the battery is the same tomorrow, it's getting sent back to Amazon.

Anyone else have a smart watch and have horrible battery life on the phone?

Battery drain. Really fast.

My battery on my phone is draining really fast! See photos. Can anyone help me figure out why?

Android OS battery drain issue

I have G850F with nordic 5.0.2 firmware. I reinstalled via Odin, then factory reseted, then again reinstalled, again fr. It's keep wakelocking very much. The unit "Android OS" and "Android System" are the main battery drainers, but I have no idea why. On many forums this is a common problem. From 6AM to 2PM Android OS wakelocked 40 minutes. It was mobile data on, and location off. On wifi, the problem still persists, in the night, it losts 3-4% or more. Location on or off doesn't make a difference. On my previous phones this (Or similar) problem wasn't exist (Mi3W) or it have been fixed (Xperia SP).
How can I fix this? What I tried: deleted old, not updated apps, cleaned nano sim, factory reseted, wiped cache, disabled UnifiedDaemon, disabled Location and Location Reporting, disabled Samsung Find my Phone, set it to WCDMA/GSM instead of 4G/WCDMA/GSM.
Screenshots are coming.

[ROOT] Fix battery drain in stock 6.0 rom

first you flash a custom recovery then install custom kernel & root your device

to root your device in 6.0 MM (alyxumair) : http://forum.xda-developers.com/cros...allow-t3220471

I installed Thunderzap 3.5 kernel (varun.chitre15) : http://forum.xda-developers.com/cros...el-to-t2890180

And then i installed Kernel Adiutor : https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ladiutor&hl=en

And changed the cpu governer from interactive to hotplug; I noticed that in interactive mode the all 4 cores are always online & drains battery; but in hotplug mode it's works fine & battery life is good.

Also I installed Greenify app to save ram & battery usage : https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...greenify&hl=en

Disable some cores for reducing heat/battery drain?

Hi, I have just rooted my H959 on android 5.1.1.

Even playing games without stunning graphic like "Puzzle and Dragons",
my phone's temperature is still high and it drains a lot during that. :(
I am thinking about disabling some CPU cores for reducing heat/battery drain?
Is it a good idea to disable let say 2 cores to make it perform like S808 (with better GPU tho) ?

Anyone tried this before and how was the result?

Fast battery drain, slow battery charge - is there a de-bloater?

I recently got unlocked Samsung Note 5 (9200 - Chinese version because 9201 is not sold in the UK). I got a few issues I would like to resolve:
- Note 5 battery drain is overly fast... Is there a way to improve battery life using Stock ROM?
- Is there a de-bloater for the latest Stock 5.1.1 ROM that gets rid of most of the crap and maybe some stuff that drains battery too much?
- Slow-charge is too slow and when I use Google Maps and listen to music in my car, slow-charge won't even charge fast enough and the battery continues to drain, but at a slower pace
- Is there a way to make Fast-charge work without the screen turning off? I would love to use Fast-Charge while using Google Maps in my car?
- Can the Chinese 9200 version be flashed with Custom ROM's for version 9201? What about kernels - can kernels for version 9201 be flashed onto version 9200?

Excesive battery drain on Existenz 3.5 due to... whatsapp?

My Z2's battery is draining really, REALLY fast. In a normal day I only use it to check whatsapp sometimes and mostly to hear some music.

I have Existenz 3.5 installed on my phone and I thought it might be rom related issue so I clean install a couple of times and nothing happened. Then, I checked on the battery stats and saw that the Whatsapp was the app that was consuming the most amount of battery (30%) then the Google Play Music (around 9%) and so on... So I decided to greenify Whatsapp... Still the same thing.

While all this happened I should say that auto sync was disabled, I was using 2G, the minimun brightness and barely turn my screen on.

After all this happened I decided to put the phone into Android's battery saving mode, still nothing happened. I don't now what to do, I also already calibrated my battery.

Is this soft-hard ware related problem? What should I do?

P.S.
I'll post the screen capture as soon as my phone wakes off it's dream.

Android M [Nexus 5] - Random Freeze/Reboot with massive battery drain

Going crazy, about ready to get a new phone....

Previously had CM12 and did a factory reset to factory images Android M [MRA58K] and now the phone reboots/freezes constantly. It will freeze while the screen is off but still have the indicator light going for notifications. It becomes totally unresponsive to my attempts to get the screen on. During those times it has massive battery drain as well and requires a full restart to work again.

I did have similar experiences upgrading to stock 5.1, but had no problems with non stock.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Battery drain issues. Can't seem to remedy the issue

I've tried every kernel from arter to noble. Turned off voLTE. You name it. I still get android system, cell standby and Android OS are killing my battery. Anybody have any possible solutions?? I'll mention I haven't went more than 24 hours without flashing another kernel to try an fix the draining. So I haven't let any kernel settle in for 2-3 days since this issue began. I used to get great battery life at one point. And I'm doing nothing different from before. I've always used the same setup and continue to do the same.

1080 vs 1440 display battery drain? Significant or not?

So basically I have question whether larger resolution drains significant larger amount of battery energy.
For instance if we take both two screens : 5.7' vs 5.7'' both use same IPS technology 1080 vs 1440 Same Snapdragon 808 and Adreno 418 3GB of RAM 3000mah battery The reason I chosen same size hardware to give as much as possible identical condition part from pixel count.
Other comparison would be 5" vs 5.7" both use same IPS technology 1080 vs 1440 identical Snapdragon 808 and Adreno 418 3GB of RAM 3000mah .
If you also have any links bring them in!

Thanks

Battery drain with WiFi on

Since several original ROMs (currently on G925FXXU2COH2), my phone has a huge battery drain during sleep. In the evening with 100% battery and after 8 hours the battery is around 69-72% (without use). If I turn off the WiFi there is no battery drain, the battery is around 95% after 8 hours. So the problem seems to be the WiFi.

I already read about turning off VoLTE settings, but my ROM doesn't have that feature, so it has to be something else.

Anyone with the same problem or solution? Like to hear from you, thanks in advance!
