Voice Quality Problem in WhatsApp (CM12.1 Snapshot)

Hello,

I got a little problem.

I am using currently CM12.1 Snapshot on my Moto G2 Titan.

If I record Whatsapp Voice Notes, the quality is a piece of **** and my voice is like cancer......

On the stock Motorola ROM is the quality really nice, but here.....

What can I do for fix it?

Google now alarm voice command issue

When I use Google now voice feature to set my alarm to a certain time, the phone always sets it 6 hours ahead of what I want. I checked the clock settings, good now settings, and other stuff but can't not find a solution.
Does anyone know what to do?

NFC - Google voice

My name is David from Montreal Canada .
I seek to immitate a voice query that is made to google now tts and place it on a NFC chip. Id like to avoid tasker. Only mimic the exact query sent as a speach command. Take that script and save it to a NFC chip. This will allow me to program NFC chips that have predefined questions.

When the user will scan tag.. A answer will return on their speakerphone via google now.

If a voice query is too complicated how about a simple google now txt query.
Can I save these and place on NFC chip??

Marshmallow users : is voice dialer still alive ?

Hi,

I'm interested in the Marshmallow update for Nexus 6. I don't own a Nexus 6 so that's why I'm asking this question to you guys : when you long press the button of your wired headset while your screen is off and locked, does it still launch the ugly Voice Dialer or has it finally been replaced by Google Voice Search/Now ?

Because the Voice Dialer feature on my Galaxy S5 is just driving me nuts :silly:

Evo Design NEEDS voice recognition

I have an HTC Evo Design currently running a custom rom based on Android 4.0.3. I like the rom very much the issue is that for some reason it is completely lacking in voice recognition. This baffles me due to the fact that the Evo 3D I had previous to this phone (model from about 1 year before the Design came out) did have voice recognition. So... i really need to implement whatever solution is most sensible & practical to give this Evo Design voice recognition capability... IF that is possible. I'm asking what is the issue in terms of either hardware or OS limitations and/or compatibility that are effectively keeping me from having speech recognizer with my current phone configuration?

Btw in the interest of full disclosure I've already asked what is essentially this question here: h**p://forum.xda-developers.com/general/xda-assist/evo-design-looking-fast-rom-speech-t3211198 On the one hand I understand that being the asker of the question puts me in a sort of beggars can't be choosers category & so I do have some humility about this. On the other hand I can't help but think someone out there has more/better info in regards to what is the crux of voice issue and what can be done to solve it.

Some Gapp issues - Voice, Hangouts, Snapseed

For a few months now, I've been having problems with recent updates to Google; Voice, Hangouts, & Snapseed. I've saved .apks for the versions that I know work and have reinstalled them when I'm brave enough to try the new updates. Meanwhile, I've turned off autoupdate for them so I'm not surprised when I try to use a broken program.

Voice - the keyboard is intermittently inaccessible. I've read that it has to due with having formatted text in the clipboard. I don't know from my own experience that the pattern is completely true.

Hangouts - same as voice.

Snapseed - For a while, it would load a picture and then when trying to apply an operation, it would hard stop. Some versions hard stop on picture loading.

It seems that something in common Google code has changed that doesn't play well with the stock android versions on the M8.

Does anybody have better information, or even a solution?

Moto voice response sounds

So I am pretty ecstatic over all with the performance of my Moto X pure, and a little impressed by the moto voice command function. I can access just about everything on the phone by voice alone, except there's one problem. Everytime the phone understands one of my commands, it responds with a very loud and obnoxious sounding "bloing!"
I can even tolerate the robotic voice of the Moto lady, who sounds like my 3rd grade teacher, but the response sound is just too much. Does anybody know what folder it is in so I can nuke it, or is there a way to turn that sound off.? I looked in the media files, and in the notification files, of both the phone and the SD card, looking for a matching sound but did not find it there. Any suggestions?

Google Voice Typing - Freezes

Every once in a while after pressing the microphone on the keyboard, I will dictate a text message to the voice program and once I'm done, the program won't close. Hit the X, back button nothing happens. Must restart the phone to close it. Happens regularly in both Stock-Rooted OG4 and again on Optimal Rom. Any ideas?

FB messenger Voice chat

Voice chat feature is not working for me on FB messenger, voice chat and video recording does not record sound but during voice calls and video calls it works. When I record, it will not play back when i try to and it will not playback for the person i send it to. I tried installing previous versions and even resetting my phone to factory settings but it still doesn't work. Voice chat features work in other apps like Viber, LINE etc. Any ideas?

Google voice; reject goes to Verizon voice-mail instead..

so on every phone I've ever had, when I ignore a call by hitting reject, it would goto my Google voice. I tried with my brother who has an og moto x, his goes to Google voice. same with my friend on an s6.

on my new moto x pure, whenever I hit reject, it goes to Verizon voice-mail and not google voice. wtf? why? my note 4 reject went to Google voice.. so did my g2. and my s4. and my dna. and so forth.

what's going on here?

Call Voice Clarity issue..

Hi folks

I have installed cm 12.1.1 Nightly -taoshan.

Everything working fine, but only issue with call quality. Noise cancellation is not working. Voice echoing on other side on any network. I have checked with every network provider, still facing same problem.

I have heard that disabling the " OK Google " may fix this issue... is that true.. ??

XT1068 Moto G 2014 In Call Voice issues

Hi,
I m using Moto G 2014 XT1068 on Cyanogenmod 12.1 Nightly (Titan). After every 2-3 voice calls my voice stops to transmit at the other end but i could hear the persons voice clearly. So i need to restart my phone to function it back to normal for another 4-5 calls. Any help?? I have edited my build.prop for voip calls that worked fine but i need the same for voice calls through network operator too and also a fix to send videos via Whatsapp, they dont upload keeps saying retry

In-Call Voice Problem

When someone calls me (or I call someone), I wouldn't be able to hear them unless I'm in a quiet room, like a closet. The person says he can hear me clearly, but I can barely hear the person. What's the issue and how can I fix this?
