_BKF_NV_W Failed (Using Upgrade Download tool)

Hi/Hello Sir/Maam

I am a owner of a Cherry mobile Flare S3 mini, which has a Spreadtrum Chipset (Sc8830). My problem is that I accidentally flash a rom that causes it to be deadboot. I look on ways on how to revive it and I find this "Upgrade Download Tool' which is a flash tool for spreadtrum devices. But I can flash my stock rom which is in .pac format through this Upgrade Download Tool because I always get this error "_BKF_NV_W", I dont know what that means and I really need somehelp. Can somebody here help me with this error? I would appreciate any help that will come to you with regards to this. Thanks and I hope that you can help me.

Why "CSE Flash" option does not appear? LG FLash Tool

i have been watching videos about how to downgrade LG G PRO F240S but they said it can be downgraded with the CSE flash option, but it does not appear for me.. Do you know the problem? i have tried on 2 of my pcs.:(:(:(

No fastboot, No recovery, No adb and LG Flash Tool also doesn't work!

Ok I've been spending my Saturday on this for 9 hours straight now. Damn!
It started with trying to clean install resurrection remix rom (I had lollipop RR but I wanted to clean install a new version). I went full retard and deleted everything then I had nothing to flash and I couldn't connect to device with adb from windows 10.
I went to linux and I could use adb there. I booted into recovery (TWRP 2.7) and sideloaded new RR rom. It started to work!
Then I went beyond full retarded and tried to upgrade the TWRP itself to 2.8.6 and I tried different things that didn't work except one that was an app that took care of it but then it could not boot normally.
I did some more idiotic things til I ended up with a brick that the only way I could feel some communication with it (!) was with Download mode (press vol +) in DemiGod Crash Handler and LG flash tools!
Nothing else works (no adb, no fastboot, no recovery). It gives secure booting error (boot certificate verify) when it tries to boot (or into recovery) and gives Critical Error that I can either reboot or go to Dload mode!
By the way from the beginning I couldn't use fastboot!
also LG flash tools give model information check fail error!
I remember some weird stuff like using dd to copy some image partitions (I didn't have fastboot). I also remember doing rm -rf * somewhere =)) and a lot of playing around with TWRP!
I would really appreciate some help getting out of this mess!

Super ADB Tool Reborn [SATR] - No more command lines!

Quote:

Here I present you my newly created tool where you can simply do mostly anything without the use of the command line.
In times where you need to push only a few files and need to wait for the windows-file-manager to load, you loose some great time, and that's now over! Plug & Drag. That's all you need to do.

Quote:

This tool have some nice capabilities which goes much further, than the standard ADB command-line version.
The first thing that you can do easily is drag files in the "Push" button, as much as you want at once, and those will be sorted and transfered one-per-one safely.
This tool has online powers too, that means, you can download scripts and micro-plugins from the database and apply it to your program. Scripts help you improve you cellphone with help of other users. Micro-Plugins help you to keep track of your phone in realtime. If you need specific informations which only your device have, make one yourself and then apply it. If you want to help the community, upload it, there's a button too for it.

Windows and .Net Framework 3.5 (Most computers with Windows XP and above had this)
(If anyone could make it run on Wine on Linux, let me know :fingers-crossed: )

whatismyaspectratio.com - aspect ratio tool

Hi,

I created whatismyaspectratio.com . It tells you the aspect ratio of your display. Should work with any TV, projector, computer or phone display (provided there is a browser to access the site with).

It’s targeted at people who don’t know much about aspect ratios and don’t know their own aspect ratio (or resolution). Could be useful if you want to know this yourself or want to know this of a non-tech savvy friend or family member.

Hope you find it useful.

Feedback welcome.

LG Flash Tool Error

I have a Verizon LG G3 running the latest software released yesturday. (VS98535B) I hated it and wanted to go back to Kit Kat, so I could root and flash custom recovery and get CM 12.1 The LG flash tool is giving me an error saying that I need to restart the flash tool and try again. At least I can get to the OS. I just can't flash a new one.

Is there any tool to check for the kernel capabilities Stock ROM.

Is there any way to know what file-systems are supported in the stock kernel? Is there any tool to check for the kernel capabilities? I am in Stock 5.1.1 (.222) kernel. I would like to shift to F2FS if it is supported by the Stock Kernel. Or maybe a loadable module can be developed.
I would love to have an app to list all the things supported in the kernel.

Edit: Sorry, I posted in the wrong thread. Dear Mod, Please Remove the post.

slashadb Material Chainable Flashing Tool

Welcome to slashadb!

I'm not a coder, or a dev. Let's get that out right now. But I wanted to make a tool that would allow me to "chain flash" my rom, gapps, kernel, etc... So, I made some batches. Batches turned into batches to control batches, to a simple GUI, then to this.

This should be a simple to use tool, it works for everything I've been able to throw at it, and it was a ton of fun making it. This is NOT TO COMPETE with any other toolkit. This isn't meant to be "the best" or "better" than anything else. It was just my after work project, and it was a blast to learn about.

If you're bored, lazy, busy, or whatever, give this a try. If you find something broken, or have a suggestion of something to add, while trying to keep with the theme of "simple and easy to pick up and use" then drop a comment. I built an updater that checks on start, so any additions or modifications I make, you can get too. You can always decline to update as well and keep on using an old version.

I plan on continuing to work on this, because it's a fun hobby for now. Any future plans or known bugs I'll post in post #2.

To use, flip the toggle of the desired action, it'll ask you to add files if necessary, and hit the + button to flash! You can also Root, unlock the bootloader, re-lock, and do minor modding...

Happy Flashing!
