How to find out what A2DP codecs are available on my devices?

Hi, I am not sure which forum to ask this question. I am on the market for a new and hopefully better set of Bluetooth speakers to replace the cheap one I have. I understand that there are a number of audio codecs used for Bluetooth stereo but not all Android sources and Speakers support the most sophisticate codecs. Some may only support the minimum subband coding. So, before I spend the money, I like to know if there is an easy way to find out (ie. via an APP on Android) if my phone and the new speaker I intend to buy have the capability to use AAC.

TF700T Utilities Driver Not Available on ASUS Support

Hi,

I rooted my TF700T so that I can install CyanogenMod onto my tablet, however, when I go to the ASUS website (drivers and downloads) section to select Utilities from the Operating System drop down menu there are no options to select.

What would my next steps be?

Thanks in advance

Is there a pre-rooted 0.182 stock ftf from available?

I didn't like my T2 ultra until 5.1.1 (19.4.A.0.182) stock rom came along...it gave the buggy phone a new lease.

I like to root it via flashtoo ftf file. Does anyone has one to share? Also pls advise the steps...do I need to unlock bootloader first? Do I need to install recovery?

I wanted to root to remove bloatwares and use app2sd to install apps.

Thanks!

Unlocked Galaxy S4 Your device has been modified. Software Updates are not available

Hello everyone! im sure this post has been covered but I having trouble navigating around and finding the info I need. I would like to start by saying 6 years ago I owned an htc hero that I rooted and installed cyanogenmod on using xda developers. everyone on here was extremely knowledgeable and helpful so this is where I am returning to first with my questions and issues. here is my story.\

we ordered and purchased my mother a galaxy s4 online. it came from Germany. We received it already unlocked, rooted, and custom software installed :(
its one thing for me to start with a stock phone and do it all myself, but im not sure how to take this already modified phone and turn it into cyanogenmod or back to stock (without losing root).

here is the phones current info
Galaxy S4 Model Number: GT-19500
Device Status: Custom
(Unlocked GSM Phone - Hooked up to bring your own ATT phone Straight Talk Line)
Android Version: 4.4.2
Baseband Version: 19500XXUGNF6
Kernel version: 3.4.5-2434847 dpi@SWDD3913 #1 (Wed Aug 6 16:24:19 KST 2014)
Build Number: KOT49H.19500XXUGNH2
SE for Android Status Enforcing SEPF_GT-19500_4.4.2_0040 (Mon Feb 02 13:58:13 2015)

I am very very outdated on my terms and what this all means but very much willing to learn!! im exited to start modifying her phone and making it better as it is ALWAYS dying and im not sure why the company we bought it from modded it in the first place. I would like info on what was done to this (if anyone knows) and how I can either get it wiped clean (so they have no access to the custom stuff they put on it) and how I can install either cyanogenmod or another up to date custom rom, OR how I can restore it to factory rom that way I can do updates to newer android WITHOUT LOSING ROOT (if this is possible) all recommendations links and info is appreciated! I used to be apart of the xda community and have been out of the loop for a few years and would love to start learning again. my biggest fear is bricking or ruining my moms phone. she needs it for use everyday and I cant do anything that will ruin her phone (although I know all this comes with risk I trust the knowledge of most of the experienced users on here). her phone is an unlocked gsm phone as it is hooked up to a bring your own ATT phone Straight talk line.
Lets Get Started :)

Marshmallow OTA Links Now Available For Some Android One Phones

Thanks to semi-standardized hardware and "pure" builds of Android, Google has maintained an impressive track record when it comes to speedily updating the Android One phones that it's designed with various partners in emerging markets. One of our readers was kind enough to track down a handful of links for over-the-air updates to Android 6.0 for these phones, in case users are tired of waiting and want to update their phones manually. To flash these OTA files in recovery, you need to be on the latest Lollipop build (LMY48M) with unmodified software.

[OpenFit 1.4.3] Spotify Support Available

Hey guys!

Since the OpenFit app media controller didn't support Spotify, I've decided to fork the project and modify the code to make it available.
I don't know the guys developing the app, but they've done an awesome job!

I will upload my code to GitHub when I once more time.
I also imported the project to Gradle, so I can't make a pull request on the OpenFit repo.

Thanks!

PS: I don't know if I signed the APK correctly (just made a keystore and clicked "Generate Signed APK...").

Where do I attach files here?

Preview 3 to release OTA available?

I have searched this forum topic and did not see any mention of a Marshmallow Release OTA for those running the M Preview 3. Not sure I want to risk things by not flashing some of the image files. Suggestions appreciated.

Rooting M with chainfires kernel?? Recovery not available??

Does anyone else find that rebooting to recovery using twrp doesn't happen? I've tried re flashing recovery with fastboot and even selecting in bootloader boot to recovery after and still just boots into android.. Any ideas? Is it chainfires boot.img causing the problem?

SD Card apps no longer available.

Hello, I recently upgraded my external storage on my Galaxy S4. I copied all the files from my old SD card to the new one. But none of my apps that were transferred from the old SD card are available on the new one. I've attached some screenshots.
