After installing the audio patch update, and switching FireStarter to non-ADB detection my WiFi remote went back to dropping out again. First time it's happened since I first set up the (unused) WiFi connection.
Rebooting didn't help. Switching FireStarter back to ADB had no effect. I was about to give up and contact Amazon.
And then, just for a laugh I pulled out the LAN cable, plugged it back in.
Whaddyaknow, back to normal again.
Which leads me to ask: has anyone got anything positive to say about this remote? It's supposed to have better battery life. That might very well be true: it's way too early to say. And it's supposed to have lower latency. Can't say I've seen any evidence of that.
Anyone?
