How to change the bootloader code?
Hallo everyone,
to unlock the bootloader on the P8 lite is a individual code necessary and I'm asking me, if is possible to change the code. Has everyone information about the encryption methods of the Stock bootloader? I'm currently waiting for my code to unlock the bootloader and root the device.
Thanks and best regards,
Pucciano

Galaxy S6 5.1.1 Kernel Compilation from Source Code
Hi, i have success compiled kernel 5.0.2 with mac80211 support and drivers for wifi cards.
insmod, rmmod, lsmod working good ( i have too Kali Linux on my Galaxy s6)
Now i want have Lollipop 5.1.1 but with this i have problem.
After i success compiled kernel and flash my phone freeze on inscription "Samsung Galaxy S6" and have small red inscription "Kernel is not seandroid"
What i must do for possible start my lollipop 5.1.1?
I had one kernel for 5.1.1
1. Root included
2. KNOX removed
3. "Kernel is not seandroid" removed
and system boot normal but with my compiled kernel.
What is problem ?
I have G9200 HK
Now use Stock 5.0.2 with my "stock kernel" with mac80211 support, root and compiled much USB wifi drivers (modules.ko).
Want use 5.1.1 STOCK or custom with self compiled kernel or
Custom rom with support mac80211 + tutorial how compile wifi drivers for USB dongles ( modules.ko) for compiled kernel.
Normally i compile modules met kernel compilation.
I use for compilation this tutorial

Push button secret code help
I am have been working on this app for a few weeks now. I have never done any coding in my life, until I started this app. I have a few secret codes/dial codes that I use often, but i forget what code to use when sometimes, so I wanted to make an app that would make it as simple as clicking a button, and the app would send the code for me.
I have all my buttons, and I have them programmed. I gave the permissions that I think it needs, but when I run the app on my phone I get nothing. In Android Studio, I can read this,
"W/BroadcastQueue: Permission Denial: broadcasting Intent { act=android.provider.Telephony.SECRET_CODE dat=android_secret_code://XXXXXX flg=0x10 } from com.myapp.appname (pid=7540, uid=10128) requires android.permission.CONTROL_INCALL_EXPERIENCE due to receiver com.google.android.apps.tycho/.receivers.DialerCodeReceiver"
for permissions I have:
AndroidManifest.xml:
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WRITE_SETTINGS" />
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.CONTROL_INCALL_EX PERIENCE" />
MainActivity.java:
import android.content.Intent;

String action = "android.provider.Telephony.SECRET_CODE";

[q][legal-regulation regarding android system] - publishing secret code
Hi everyone,
i hope i didn't post this in wrong section,
my company is about to make a simple printed guide regarding how to activate LTE Only mode on Android phone,
in most of AOSP based phone, this will need a user to dial a what we all call "SECRET CODE" for "Phone Info", which is *#*#4636#*#*
no, my question is, since my company gonna do this as a company, not as a personal that post some information in internet,
is there any regulation/written law that tell what i can publish and what not? for example, is it okay to publish this secret code to public officially? will we break any law or agreement? or is Google allow us to do so?
if any of you know something regarding this matter, please kindly lighten me up,
Thank You

Code: *#0228#
I read on the ZeroLemon thread that the code *#0228# will reset the fuel gauge on the phone for different extended batteries. Is this true for the Verizon Galaxy Note 4? This particular user said he lives in Brazil, I believe.

Bootloader unlock code
The methods proposed on xda or elsewhere do not seem to work any more.
There is a Huawei form to get the code ; when you fill the form and apply, you get a prompt : "You must have a phone account to submit this application".
When you want to register for a phone account, you should give your phone nb but the only country code avalaible is china !
Last july, I unlocked and rooted an Honor 6 device without any problem but today, I am stuck ... If anyone has a suggestion, it will be highly welcome.
Thanks in adv,
Bruno

invalid mmi code and or ussd code issue when run from stock dialer.
I have a samsung gs4 and i cant call my voicemaill *86 It tells me invalid mmi code Other timez i get the operator telling me the number i called us invalid. I also have a few apps that can start from the dialer that no longer start because of the aboce errors. I am rooted and running stock verizon firmware. My network operator is Telcel in Mexico.
I have to say it is not Telcel's fault since I can't use my dialer to run gallery vault either. The pin for that app starts with a ##1234 i.e. ## (then 4 digit pin )

Network Unlock Code not working
Hello,
I ordered a Net Unlock Code from my previous provider and the unlock code is not working
I used BlissPop which was showing the correct imei.
so I did a backup of EFS (in TWRP) and installed original rom from sammobile (I9300BUALE6_I9300VFGALE6_MOB).
(Is it possible that EFS is corrupt with working/correct imei?)
After that I installed TWRP again and restored the EFS folder, unfortunatly the IMEI was NOT restored (00..).
After that I tried to install Modem.zips from http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...01&postcount=2
Which fixed the IMEI but unlock code still not working.
After entering the unlock code I get a notification from "FT Service"
"on Factory Mode" (WLAN is working, Radio signal is available)
Can anyone help me, please?
thanks
Tom

Finding MSL code on a cricket LG G Stylo?
How can I do this? I'd like to use the code in order to force my phone to stay on 4g lte.
I've searched around but can't seem to find a method that works.

Code goodies from N6P?
Ok guys, Google just showed us Nexus 6P which has our same SoC (rev 2.1 also) and I was wondering about how this could affect our development section.
Do anyone experienced know if we can probably get same experience (or maybe better, 1080p screen....less effort) using aosp code from N6P? aosp based rom I mean....
or if will be extremely easy to get aosp working, like very quickly, on our phone....
not asking etas or requests, just thinking out loud
