Is there a pre-rooted 0.182 stock ftf from available?

I didn't like my T2 ultra until 5.1.1 (19.4.A.0.182) stock rom came along...it gave the buggy phone a new lease.

I like to root it via flashtoo ftf file. Does anyone has one to share? Also pls advise the steps...do I need to unlock bootloader first? Do I need to install recovery?

I wanted to root to remove bloatwares and use app2sd to install apps.

Thanks!

Do I need unlocked bootloader to flash prerooted FTF ?

My question is simple. Can I make a stock FTF pre-rooted myself (I know how), and flash the FTF with Flashtool on my Z3 bootloader locked?

If not, how I can?

Thanks!

How to downgrade ME572CL back to JP sku Kitkat from pre-rooted WW Lollipop

So I have a Japanese model ME572CL which I flashed with WW lollipop firmware. I then downgraded and reflashed with pre-rooted lollipop following the guide on here. But now I would like to go back to the correct JP SKU firmware, the most recent version of which is V12.14.1.17 released last month, but I believe still 4.4.2 based. Can anyone tell me the correct steps to downgrade back to that firmware? Really grateful if anyone can help!

[SGP611][Flashable Prerooted Firmware][FTF][23.4.A.1.200_R4C] Sony Xperia Z3TC

I have downloaded and created a pre-rooted firmware flashable over XZDualRecovery for the firmware version (23.4.A.1.200). The firmware is based on the UK region and contains the SuperSU (v2.46) and XZDualRecovery (v2.8.21) along with BetterBatteryStats apk.

I have tested this firmware with my Xperia Z3TC (German model) and works fine. Few things I have observed,
  • On installing this firmware, I saw a freeing of more than 500 MB from my internal storage.

  • On the first boot it updated the NFC firmware

  • There were two unnecessary apps installed - Kobo books and NeoReader, but those can easily be uninstalled.

  • Battery life remains the same as I saw in the .546 and .570 release. It is fine for me.

Download: https://copy.com/bf6N0w2CFr63lfl2

I also have a 23.4.A.1.232_R1C firmware based on the Benelux region in the shared folder. However, I am yet to test it out. I have created this flashable zip in the same way as the .200 release, so it should be fine. Please proceed with caution.

Note: Your warranty maybe void after flashing this firmware. I am not responsible for any possible damages to your device on installing this firmware.

Thanks and credits to the authors of following applications, which made the whole process extremely easy
  • XperiFirm

  • Flashtool
