Another M9 bricked while locking bootloader

Hi all,

Here's another bricked M9. It happened after:

- HTC M9 official Firmware
- S-OFF with XTC2Clip Hardware
- Bootloader unlocked via HTC Dev
- TWRP and root
- Reflashed Stock recovery

After trying to relock the boot loader with an adb(su)-shell and following command:
echo -ne '\x00\x00\x00\x00' | dd of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p2 bs=1 seek=33796

did the device not start anymore. Nothing helped - no charging LED is glowing.
In the Windows device manager the phone is recognized as a serial port --> Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008

I can't reach it via adb or fastboot. The screen on the phone stays black.
Do you've any recommendations, hints or else?

Problems to solve incognito icon Sim another company my Verizon HTC ONE M8.?

Good friends, I have a problem reading Sim.
to put the sim in my HTC ONE M8 a message that is not Verizon, then an icon appears above SIM me htc6525lvw Verizon appears to me they are a sign of incognita. Another person with blu life one 2015 stuck in recovery

Been stuck in recovery for about 5 weeks.

Blu doesn't have a stock rom for this phone.

Can't seem to talk anyone, with this phone, into doing a rom dump.

If anyone has an idea or owns one of the blu life on 2015, please post.

How to change the CSC to enable the 4G frequency bands of another country !

Hello.


Living in France, and having imported a Hong Kong Galaxy Note 5, so it miss B20 (800Mhz) frequency band to have 4G optimally.

Is it possible to activate this frequency band or another by changing the CSC firmware? How to do please?

The only models currently offering all French frequency bands are the N920C and N920CD (Dual SIM)

Apparently it is possible to do it on a Galaxy Note 3 and 4 ....

Acer E600 flash with another firmware

Hi all! Is it possible to flash the smartphone with the firmware of other vendor? For example, this Acer has CPU Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 and Samsung galaxy Grand 2 also has this CPU, GPU is also the same Adreno 305. I suppose something may not work, but what i have to do to flash this firmware for at least to boot? Acer is rooted, CWM is installed. What the issues could I have for flashing and booting?

The second option is to build Cyanogenmod custom firmware.

changing one stock ROM for another

Hi,

I have an AT&T Note 4 (SM-N910A). I would like to upload non-AT&T Stock Rom. I found non AT&T stock rom for SM-N910F (which has the same Snapdragon 805 processor).

I know that SM-N910A has a locked bootloader. but I have seen posts saying that it is possible to upload stock rom even in this case. here is a sample post, although I don't trust the source.
I have seen other posts saying that this is not possible, but they are quite old.

Question:

• Does anyone know if uploading a stock, non-ATT rom is possible?


• If it is possible, would ODIN get the job done?


• Finally - would the SM-N910C do for the SM-N910A? What am I looking for in order to guarantee a match?

Another reason to keep your Note 3

I recently purchased a Galaxy note Edge for my daughter and rooted it to enable the Hotspot. Found out the Note Edge with Sprint Spark is single Antenna device. So, if the Hotspot is enabled and your using it to run a laptop. Then at the same time you receive a phone call it drops the Hotspot internet connection.

In other words you cannot receive calls and data at the same time. The Note 4, Note 5, Note Edge, S6, and S6 Edge all have a single antenna. The Note 3 is the last Samsung device to send and receive data and phone calls at the same time. Just another reason I still run a Note 3 . :good: ;)

Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime bought in another country, region locked?

A family member from Argentina bought a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime, model SM-G531F, in her trip to Spain, after making the purchase, we spoke, and she read to me a phrase that appear in the box that caught her attention (she doesn't speak english): "european sim-card only", I did some research and the Samsung region lock apparently is not as strict as it seems, making or receiving a call of 5 minutes or more, it seems that enables the smartphone to use it in other regions.

My concerns are these:

-It is true that a 5 minute call unlocks the smartphone to be used in other regions?

-The call have to or may be from or to a Spanish number? (she did not bring his Argentine SIM card with her, she bought a Spanish SIM card to use during her stay in Spain)

-There are other ways to enable or unlock the smartphone for use it in Argentina?

Any info or suggestion would be very helpful since I do not have much time to solve this problem.
