HTC Sync Manager says update needed even though I'm on the lastest version.

I finally unlocked my bootloader and immediately ran into problems. I went to restore my phone to one of sync managers backups but when I connect my phone to my pc, I get a popup within sync manager saying "update needed, This device needs to connect with the latest version of HTC Sync Manager. Please check for update or download". Weird thing is that I'm on the lastest version, version 3.1.54.2. I just can't get sync to work. Can someone please give me a solution?

Phone Stats:

My used Galaxy Tab S says it has KNOX version - what does this mean?

I got a Galaxy Tab S from cowboom.com, in great condition, but the About device info shows something I never heard of:

KNOX version
KNOX 2.3
with many details that seem to indicate that this is something for enterprises

The Android version is 5.02.

I've never seen anything like this on my other devices (including 2 Samsung tablets) and couldn't quite parse the info I found about Knox. Is this something that is meant for businesses? Does it have any limitations for me (tablet owner and sole user) or anything I should know about?

I couldn't find a shortcut for it in the App drawer and actually don't even know if it's something I'm supposed to be able to control.

Thanks.

unlocked bootloader, kingroot says it's rooted, no root apps works

I have used the naked drivers to unlock the bootloader, and then used the newest king root apk to root it, but it says it's already rooted, so i downloaded supersu and foldermount, but supersu says there ain't no su binary installed, and foldermount is stuck on refreshing "checking for root" constantly.

Have i done something wrong here?

T-Mobile says update rolled out. Is there a way to force?

According to this page
https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DO...pdate_download
T-Mobile began rolling out 6.0 on October 5th. It states in the instructions to perform the update manually is essentially performing the android check for updates however I get no prompt to download the OTA.

Has anyone found a way to force the update? Possibly resetting the device?

Thanks!
