Little ram saving trick for RamHog™ apps. Maybe it'll help. :)

on a phone that only has three gigs of RAM, (I got the 16 GB version, sue me) I knew there would be a little bit of tweaking involved.
Both chrome and Firefox, are highly functional, with social network sites like twitter, and facebook.
I realized my applications, were eating up nearly a gigabyte of RAM.
My simple tweak is this.
I deleted Facebook messenger, the Facebook app itself, and the twitter apps
I used chrome to go to Facebook, and sign in, and then saved it as a desktop button. (setting are the three dots, top right, selected "add to home screen")
One click and I'm back in Facebook. No app needed, and no RAM suck
Did the same thing with Twitter, and when I was done, I had nearly a gigabyte of free RAM on the phone, and the phone was seriously faster.

Hope it helps someone. I know there are people who get used to the UI of the apps, over the desktop sites, especially on mobile devices, but I barely noticed it.
It is basically using one app (your browser) instead of several apps. with previous versions of android, I got mixed results with this, but it seems to work really smoothly now

EFS FOLDER needed? maybe...

I rooted my phone, everything was fine running SpaceX Kernel until i started getting reboots. i flashed arters kernel and when my phone restarted from odin i got a message saying : This phone has been flashed with unauthorized software and is locked. the phone won't connect to the network. if i flash the stock firmware with stock kernel it won't boot for some reason. It only boots up with a rooted kernel but my baseband says unknown and my imei is null. if i flash darthstalker ROM i get the baseband back but imei is still null, i tried changing the imei and masking it with apps but no luck. people keep saying that my efs folder got corrupted... so i was gonna try copy somebody's folder to see if my phone connects to the network. that's where I'm at, this sucks and I'm desperate for help. by the way, right now I'm running stock COI5
Anything will be appreciated.

Wind unlock (1700mhz band) coming soon (for Bell and Rogers) +maybe others

Hey guys, I've successfully come up with a method to unlock the 1700mhz band on my Bell LG G3 (Wind service anyone?)
Anyways I haven't been on in awhile and seen a bunch of PM's in my inbox and wanted to let you guys know I'm in the process of making you guys some how-to videos to unlock the 1700mhz band on your LG G3.
I haven't done too much testing, But I know it forsure 100% works.
Works on Canadian Bell/Rogers LG G3, But It might work on USA phone's, too. (you guys are gonna have to test)

I might not be able to upload the videos for a few weeks from now, because my computer is all disassembled, sending stuff in for warrantys.

Device maybe corrupt message followed by black screen

So I tried to root and put on a custom recovery using the nexus root toolkit, since I am not very advanced at this type of stuff. But after pushing the root files to my phone from the TWRP recovery I got the message that the device is corrupt. I press the volume down button and power button to continue boot, but then the screen just goes black, and stays that way. Any advice?
