I cm12.1 have problems installing unofficial .
I make all relevant wipes ( factory reset , cache , cache and Dalvik format / system) but when I put reboot system now not start. It is a bootloop .

• Install the ROM Manager on your Lenovo A706. Get it from Google Play Store, then install the clockwork mod recovery. You also can use ROM Installer application from JRummy Apps Inc.(Get it from Google Play Store).

• Connect your Lenovo A706 to your PC using the usb cable. Copy the “ROM.zip” file you downloaded to the sd card.

• Restart your device in the recovery mode using ROM Manager. In Recovery Mode, go to ROM Manager and select backup/restore to back-up your imp data.

• From the Recovery Menu do a total data erase (including Delvik Cache). After Installation, go back to recovery menu and choose Flash ROM from SD Card. Navigate the location you copied the ”ROM.zip” file and follow the directions for installing Android 5.0 Lollipop on your Lenovo A706. After installation, just reboot your Lenovo A706 and you will see that, you’ve just upgraded it to the new Android 5.0 Lollipop.

It worked very well for me. Runs smoother and faster all ok.

dbrand was kind enough to ship me some skins for review for both the LG G4 and LG G3.
I figured I would post the reviews here on XDA to help the most people I could, here goes.

For the LG G4 I have the Black Carbon Fiber skin with accents and the White Carbon Fiber skin with accents.

For the LG G3 I have the Mahogany Skin with accents, and the Zebra Wood Skin with accents.

The skins arrived in simple plastic sleeves with a dbrand insert and the skin itself.
Once you open these the first thing you will notice is the skins have a texture.
The carbon fiber really looks and feels like carbon fiber.
You can actually feel the wood grain in both the wood skins.
The printing on these skins is second to none, they all look realistic.
The cutouts on the speaker grill, camera, and sensors are perfect.

The application of this skin is the easiest yet.
All you have to do is place the button and camera covers (accents) on.
Then just use the 3M paper to keep the entire skin from sticking as you align the camera cutouts.
Realign the paper sideways and align the speaker cutout.
Remove the paper completely.
Finally use a hair dryer or heat gun to heat up the edges and press them into place.
I used a heat gun on the lowest setting, a hair dryer may take slightly longer.

Just in case you do not believe how easy the install is, I have made a video of me installing one.
Remember I have no extra experience doing this, it is this easy.

INSTRUCTIONS

A memory card is required.
Boot into Android normally.
Connect your phone to your PC/Laptop with a USB cable and when asked (or in USB connection settings), please select USB Mass storage mode to mount SD card.
On the root of the memory card, create a folder called "sdfuse".
Unzip the downloaded firmware, you will get a QSB file.
Copy the QSB file to the sdfuse folder that we created earlier on the root of SD card.
Note: Please make sure that your phone has atleast 65% power before attempting or beginning upgrade. Or keep charger connected during the process.
SD card upgrade process:
Long press VOL UP + POWER_KEY to enter the droidboot,
A menu will appear. Select the fourth option, SDUPDATE.
At the bottom of the screen, you can see the progress and status of the update
When you see the message "SDCARD UPDATE SUCCESS!!!", this means you successfully completed the upgrade process
Now, reboot your device and hopefully it should be updated.

Offline system images & packages installation unsuccessful [Eclipse/Android SDK/Java]

I am currently setting up Android SDK, eclipse and Java JDK for app development. Am fairly new to it so am not familiar with very technical jargons. I have managed to successfully setup Java JDK offline and eclipse partially. I say partially because I have been able to get it to recognize platforms, platform tools and build tools by creating recognizable folders and extracting the zip contents into them. I have not succeeded for the system images as I don't know what folder naming is requires for them to be recognized as installed in the android-sdk folder. My pc is currently located in a area where there is no cable or broadband internet since the facility is fairly new but 4G data is available but very expensive.

I tried the tutorial where you create a temp folder in android-sdk, then connect to 4G just to get the SDK manager to read the necessary packages, then disconnect, then run install packages so that it now sources them locally from the temp folder but it fails to install.

The packages I need installed but dont have their zips for offline installation are:-

I can't find any solid solution only workaround: restart eclipse/android studio, kill-start adb server, reconnect device. If it'll manage to work it only works for a short period of time.
Problem persists on 2 different machines with different usb cables. It's definitely some bug in lollipop (everything worked on kitkat), because as you can read on stackoverflow it happens on htc and asus devices too.
There are answers that manufacturers fixed them, but what can I do about Huawei?
I use Mac OS X so solutions for windows won't work for me.

I ofc have programmer mode on, usb debugging on, disabled confirmation on installation from adb. But the option "verify apps via usb" it grayed out and some people said that disabling it can make it working. Adb 1.0.32.
