Motherboard mismatch.

Hello, I had a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini i9190 and was working fine until few days back when it suddenly died. Later I got a reply that the motherboard was dead and the new motherboard they installed shows i9197 at bootup.
Now I have a motherboard that supports 4g while the phone originally was 3g. The stock ROM is running fine. Now which ROM should I install, that of i9190 of i9197 ?

Motherboard question

Hello everyone!

My Idol 3 5,5 inch broke down after only 3 months of usage. I had my warranty and I got it fixed. The problem was with the motherboard. They changed my motherboard and now it is working. However I have problems with Wi-Fi signal and the phone is slower. So just to be sure that somehow the service team that fixed my phone didn't cheat me I downloaded few programs to see information about my phone. Quadrant Standard told me that my board is msm8916, but under hardware section it says Qualcom Technologies, Inc. MSM8939. CPU-Z also tells me that my board is msm8916. Chipset for Idol 5.5 inch is msm8939, while msm8916 is for Idol 3 4.7 inch if I understand correctly.
So my question is. Is it possible to put the board from Idol 3 4.7 inch into Idol 3 5.5 inch? Is it possible that they screwed me over with this?

Battery Problem, possible motherboard damage ?

Hi all

I have had my nexus 5 for a while now and just as i was flying overseas some strange things happened.

First the vibration stopped working which i knew was a loose connection on the back of the phone. Holding that area down would get it working again. Then the touch display stopped working. The LCD worked but could not touch anything to unlock the phone. I disassembled the phone and assembled it again and strangely it worked again although i didnt see anything obvious. Then is happened again...

I disassembled the phone and played around with it for a while and noticed if pressed down on the connection where the flex cable connects to the motherboard it would work again. but when i would release the pressure it would be funny again. I did this a number of times until eventually the whole LCD/blacklight should shut off. Now i can rarely get it to display anything. The phone is working because the LED light would flash and i can hear the messaged coming through. I just cannot see anything.

I replaced the flex cable with a new one and still the same issue. I replaced the LCD + digitizer + frame and still the same issue. I guess its the motherboard. Can i fix this ??

Now for some more issues:
I bought a broken Nexus 5 while overseas and i swapped the motherboard out and everything works! So it as definitely the motherboard. However, the second motherboard is having issued the the battery. I have every indication the battery is charging. However the battery percentages is stuck on 40%. It would flicker around 39% 40% instantly and when looking at the battery graph on the phone it is noisy, it is not a constant line. The percentage is not a true indication of the battery charge. I cannot get the phone to turn on just by the battery itself no matter how long i charge it for. I have swapped batteries out and i still get the same issue. I have swapped flex cables and still the same issue. Could it be that the second motherboard is also damaged??
I used the amphere app for a while while i had some power and it shows 50mA while charging but a voltage of 0V! When I unplug the cable it will shutoff. Sometimes i cannot even boot it up while charging.
What is wrong with these two motherboards?! I do not see anything obvious on the board itself.
I now see the new Nexus 5X is out but i am hesitant in buying it...This is the first phone i have had major issues with.

PS, i gave the latest updated

Thanks for your help guys. I will provide whatever information i can.

I have a Note4 with bad NAND memory and I was looking for a place to get the motherboard changed. Any ideas? Samsung will not touch it even if I pay because it's been rooted.

Galaxy S4-i9505 motherboard problem

Hello, I have a galaxy s4-i9505. While I was using it it got stuck, then grey and black screen appeared and the device turned off. From then it stucks in boot screen. After a lot of effort finally I got it into recovery mode and I hard reset the device. Now sometimes it stucks to the boot logo, or it doesn't open, or after boot logo it has black screen and vibrating forever. Sometimes it gets into the android normally but after 2-3 minutes it stucks, some lines appear in the screen and the phone turns off. In a service shop they told me that there is a problem in the CPU or in the motherboard. They didn't know exactly. I checked the power button with voltometer and it works good. If it is motherboard problem, and I buy another s4 (for example with broken screen) can I just switch the motherboards?? Do you have any ideas on how to repair the problem or where I can find a cheap motherboard?? Thank you very much!

New Motherboard SM-T310, How to get rid of pop up System Information ?

I replaced the mainboard of Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 SM-T310, it's new and no serial programmed in it. However, the pop up of system information keeps popping up and blocking the screen.
I tried re flash the newest stock ROM but not able to get rid of it. It's really annoying as it blocks the whole screen. Any help is appreciated.
