pictures not showing in gallery after moving to ext sd card

Hey guys, I recently transferred my photos from phone storage to sd card now it is not showing in my gallery. I am pretty certain I found the answer somewhere on here before but I can't find it anymore.

1. The pictures are there in my sd card I can view it in my a file explorer, but it does not show in "gallery"
2. I tried clearing data for gallery and media. I also tried force closing them, still a no go.

Any other suggestions?

Pictures on SD card not in gallery

I just noticed today that my dcim and other picture folders on my SD card are no longer showing up in my gallery. I'm fairly sure they were there yesterday. I'm on a rooted Verizon G4 with 11a software. I haven't made any changes that I know of that could have caused this. I can still access the folders and everything in them using file explorer. Its just not linking to gallery for some reason. Can someone please help with this issue? Factory reset might fix it but I would like to avoid that if possible.

Photo Gallery issue

I need help with my lg l90. Until recently gallery was working just fine, but now it seems every .gif file I have in gallery won't 'play'. It used to play gifs without any issues, but now all gifs act like regular images. Any idea why it changed and what it could be?

[ZE500KG] Question about preload photos in Gallery

I have just purchased an ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser ZE500KG. It comes preloaded with some photos in the Gallery (in folder DCIM on Internal Storage, their file names are "m_1 ... 10 .jpg/.png"), and some of them look very nice. I accidentally delete some of them and now I can't figure out how to bring them back.
Could someone give me any idea how to recover those photos; or if you have purchased this phone, could you extract those photos and upload them somewhere so I can download them.

storage gallery error

Hi there my friends trying to update her phone but it says she doesnt have enough memory and when she checks storage it says her photos take up 6gb even she only has like 40 pictures. any help would be great thanks
