HTC one m9 overheating and poor battery. True or False?

Hi, i plan to buy the m9 but the overheating and poor battery life problems that i heard kind of keeps me away from it. What's your avg battery life and it's still overheating 8 month after release?

Phone is overheating but it's not hot

Hello friends,

Before anyone tells me that I should make a search before asking I want to tell that I did almost one night but couldn't find anything what I needed.

Firstly I want to tell that my phone is out of waranty due the knox thing.

My phone stopped working from last night. I can go in to download mode and recovery mode, I can flash ROM using Odin but I can't use the phone.

I receive these notifications :

Applications have been closed. Your device is overheating. You can only use the Phone and Contacts applications.

Your device is overheating. It will now power off to cool down.

Unable to charge
The device has stopped charging. The battery temperature is too high.

Need help, phone overheating too much, crashing. (using android revolution hd 12)

Ever since I've installed the rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=3068820) my phone has been overheating on semi-long periods of use, or playing youtube or gaming. (sub 5-7 minutes). I don't know what causes it, also the phone freezes sometimes on Chrome/Whatsapp. I don't know whats causing any of these but I'd love to have them fixed, don't know how though.

The reason I switched to the ARHD12 was the sense toolbox, i really want to customize my phone but that doesn't work either since xposed frimware, the latest version for my phone says corrupt zip whenever i try to flash it. flashing to nandroid backups also soft-bricks the phone, sadly.

If it's possible, I'd like to just revert to the stock version of the phone that didnt overheat, and or a nice customizable rom that doesnt heat ): (viperonem9=softbrick, idk why ;-;)
