Trying to root my LG G4 H815 but getting error message

I am having a problem while trying to root my . When I try to make sure that my device is connected by typing 'adb.exe devices' through command prompt I get the error message:

* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
ADB server didn't ACK
* failed to start daemon *
error: cannot connect to daemon

Please help!!!

Lg G4 new update for the H815

so my lg g4 updated to V10E-234-10 and the phone is lagging so like when I use the keyborad it just freeze 15 second when am typing, when closing apps there 10 sec delay even more and the battery drains way too quick I have to charger three times a day.
I only my can get 2 hours before if goes down to 75% and then another 2 hours goes down to 50% before the update it lasted way longer then that.

can I downgrade to a different version or is the a fix for this issue
