I built a stock rooted 6.0.0 ROM if anyone is interested....includes SuperSU & BusyBox only.
This is not a typical zip you flash in TWRP...this is a stock rooted system.img & modified boot.img, flashed just like the stock images from Google. I've removed the uneeded images & edited the flash script to only flash system & boot. Actually it will also flash the included bootloader, but it appears it is not updated from 5.1.1....as it's still 4.05.
To flash the system image:
1. Download Bad_Boyz_Nexus_7_stock_rooted.zip
2. Extract Bad_Boyz_Nexus_7_stock_rooted.zip to pc
3. Connect your device to your computer over USB.
4. Start the device in fastboot mode with one of the following methods:
Using the adb tool: With the device powered on, execute: adb reboot bootloader
Using a key combo: Turn the device off, then turn it on and immediately hold down the relevant key combination for your device
5. Navigate to the unzipped system image directory.
6. Execute the flash-all script (flash-all.bat). This script installs the necessary bootloader, and rooted operating system.
