Hello.
A friend of mine asked me to flash his phone to a new firmware version. After putting the new firmware in the sd card, I entered in CWM Recovery and I did the following steps :
- Wipe Data/Factory Reset
- Wipe Cache Partition
- Wipe Dalvik Cache
I started flashing the phone using Install Zip from SD card option but the flashing failed immediatly. I discovered later that somehow the firmware in my SD card is corrupted (its size is 0 Kbyte). I restarted the phone and after a few minutes the phone started normally with all the data removed but the phone is asking me now to enter a "SIM Network Unlock Code" which of course means that the phone became simlocked.
Afterwards I succeed installing a new firmware but its always simlocked. I thought that installing a new firmware (or trying ) don't affect that. So I was wondering if there is something I can do about it.
Thanks a lot.
