HTC One M8 (T-Mobile) Mobile Hotspot with Skydragon ROM v10.0 Stuck on "Processing"

Hello, I have had the issue of Mobile Networking sharing on my HTC One M8 being stuck on "Processing" and being unable to use the function. I am running this rom on v10.0. I remember using a fairly old version of this ROM, probably v1.0 or so and tethering worked fine for me.


Hitting "Off" will turn the mobile hotspot "on", but also gray out that square and no network hotspot is created.

Hitting "Off" will dim the screen black and have the word "Processing" in the middle and freezes my phone. I am forced to mash the home button to get out of that screen.

So I'm trying to downgrade my phone from 5.1.1 to be able to root it.
I have the right ftf file, have all the drivers installed and have the latest flashtool version.
Now when I run Flashtool I get right up to the part where I have to turn off my phone and start it in flashmode.
As soon as I reconnect my phone in flashmode the process aborts and i get this error:
ERROR - Processing of loader.sin finished with errors.

any idea what this means?
