I found some instructions on how to do it from the dialer but no luck. I don't think T-Mobile will give me the unlock code because I owe them money.

Updated to 6.0....lost tethering. [METROPCS]
So here's the deal.....I eagerly flashed 6.0 on Monday as soon as I got home from work. I'm on the MetroPCS unlimited LTE plan w/ 6 GB of tethering.
After the update, I can't get tethering to work. It will turn on, and from the phone's perspective it works fine. I can connect to it with my Nexus 9....but no internet. I've rechecked and reentered my APN setttings several times now, still nothing.
Also relevant: I was unable to tether for a while on Lollipop. I rooted for a while and used a 3rd party app, which worked fine. Eventually I unrooted to use Android Pay, and found a change to the APN that made tethering work 100% stock(it involved changing the MVNO ID field to 6D38).
Everything was great right up until 6.0. I can't figure out what 6.0 changed that is making it not work. Maybe a permission? Was it the updated radio?
