Hallo everyone,
I have a non-rooted Samsung S3 (international ver.) on stock firmware. A couple of days ago, the phone suddenly restarted and then stuck on samsung logo screen. I tried to clear cach and wipe data, but both did not work.
Flashing a stock firmware via Odin, solved the problem (stuck on logo screen) but in the same time created a new one. Now I have a generic IMEI number (0049***) and I cannot get a signal any more .
I looked up through the forum and as far I understood, this is due to corrupted EFS folder. Unfortunately, I did not create an EFS backup before :(.
I also tried to fix/edit the IMEI number through QPST, by putting the phone on "RMNET + DM + MODEM" mode and then connected to the PC. The problem that I cannot manage to add a new port on the QPST Configuration. I mean I add a new port, but It always state "no phone". So, when I use RF NV Item Manager, it can not read/write from/to the phone.
Any Ideas how to solve the problem and fix my IMEI number. I really need your help.
Thanks in advanced.
