gear s and s health

i have a samsung s3 paired with my gear s , and use s health for running , problem is after my run the gear transmits the data to my phone perfect , apart from the actual route i have just ran , on my watch i can see the route overlayed on the map , but on my phone all i get is the map showing where i am , there is no route displayed
can anyone help please
